Fabulous intensity in their play. How would our lot handle that and is it worth promotion and potential humiliation just to see. I know circumstances would be different but it still makes you shudder to just imagine us versus them, and others in the Champ.
Our lot couldn’t cope with 15 minutes of press from Huddersfield without conceding pathetically and then feeling sorry for themselves for the rest of the game. We seem miles away from being a top league 1 side let alone compete in the Championship. Massive change needed in team shape, set up and mindset.
Two words for you parachute payments.. same teams getting relegated and promoted every year .. killed any ambitions
Never known a team with such a weak mentality as this one, just a team of absolute shrinking violets when the going gets tough. Not learned any lessons from the Brum home defeat in how not to let a team turn around a result in a matter of mins. No leadership out there etc
Pity they don't spend parachute payments on the Stadium. The away section one of the worst in the entire efl.
I'm no Leeds fan but they do look good to watch. Big city one club it's embarrassing how they arnt up there with the big boys.
Champ is 2 tier these days. Lower midtable would be realistic. There are always at least 2 teams who just give up the ghost. That's why Wednesday survived, and Portsmouth will this year
No doubt once they're established in the Prem again they'll have plans for a new stadium. They bought their stadium back from the council last year, they're fully owned by the 49ers and now Red Bull have come on board.
They'll definitely be getting a new stadium in the same area - its not like you'd be causing much damage flattening anything around there - dump.
My dad was a typical armchair supporter, he’d never been to a game in his life but always followed them, then one year (I’d probably be about 9 or 10 years old, I asked if I could have a Leeds kit for Christmas…week after we were at Oakwell.
I don’t get why a high, sustained, intense press is a million miles from us. You don’t even need to be good at football for that, you just need to be able to run, which you would think would be a specialty of a professional footballer.
We are not fit enough for that, the players no longer run off the pitch at half time anymore like they use to under Val
I used to love Mowatt's diagonal up and unders over his shoulder into the left or right channels or corners. Palmer mopping up. What a side?
You just have to look at our team that last went up and look at our team now to see how far behind we are now, even if we did go up we would have to spend quite a few million to just compete and I don't think that would happen
