It was mental at the end lol. Orient overplayed a great chance to finish them off then ball gets hoofed up field and Pratley gets sent off.
Hopefully but I just don’t trust them to improve us. Recruitment this season has been woeful, can we expect them to improve it this summer….with even less money?
we used to be an attractive stepping stone club for players and coaches, now we are just a 3rd tier home for people who can't get a gig anywhere else
He wouldn't be by number 1, but certainly an upgrade, but just can't see it under the current set up, you never know though
I'm just trying to be optimistic. Least we get Benson, Cosgrove and Humphrys off the books. Save a few quid there.
I’d be happy if we hang on to 7500 season ticket holders. Be amazed if we top 6k. Something really positive from the club will be needed to achieve 7.5k.
With all due respect to Leyton Orient, the Barnsley FC HC role should be much more attractive but the fact it isn't speaks volumes about our current owners and the decline that is happening on their watch. Utterly shambolic.
This is the bull **** I keep reading about us on here, "be careful what you wish for" and "who'd be interested in buying us". Seriously, it's not like we can get much worse than the shambles JAQ, Neerav and co are currently presiding over. They need to find a buyer and move on. New ownership, new stadium, new start.
My first first team game was a 3 1 defeat to Leyton Orient last game of 58/59 season. It’s looking more and more last game will be a 4 0 defeat to Leyton Orient in 24/25 season.
What I don't get is how Orient are a better prospect for their potential new owners than us. Our set up with the training ground and a 20k stadium are the envy of many a club
