What a horrible, horrible man. Starmer needs to get on joining the EU customs union and realignment with the EU, Canada, NZ and Australia on defence etc as soon as possible as we don’t have an ally in USA any more.

The simplest, most obvious, and overdue response to this is for European government to actually grow some balls and admit their mistakes of not invetsing sufficiently in defence for decades. It's time for them to grow up and prioritise protecting citizens over self-interest and political ideologies through a large increase in defence spending. There's simply no excuse (or time) anymore and European leaders are now placing the people of Europe in danger as a result.

Every nation in Europe is culpable to some degree, but the likes of Spain and Italy need to take a long hard look in the mirror more so than most. The time for talking is over. It's only decisive action and spending that will yield results for Europe hereon.

Basically every single corrupt nasty despot on the planet, looking for favours from the biggest nasty despot, has bought Trumpcoin, and Trump has made enough to pay off everyone and everything. That is, if he deigns to.

It is a certain bet that Putin underwrote Trumpcoin.

I would bet Farage has also bought it, and used Reform funds to do so.

Putin also underwrote Brexit, and Johnsons election, but we are denied the report on that.

He has projected himself (and his family via his wife's coin release) into the oligarch world, from the sewer of bankrupt casinos and hotel property money frauds.

He is now destroying the judiciary that once held him to justice, and will emerge untouchable.
It seems unbelievable but that is exactly what's happening.

We only have one choice and that is to back Ukraine and to it now. Europe needs to grow a backbone and fast, they need weapons and men so that's what we should be sending, a message needs to sent to Putin and Trump that Europe is not their concern its ours.

Trump is barking mad and I can't figure his logic in his position on Ukraine and sidling up to Putin, what's in it for him? I can only see he is repaying his debt.

I wouldn't put too much store by that it really isn't telling the important part of the story...the fact is that the 2% of GDP was agreed unanimously by NATO Member states at the Riga Summit in 2006.
UK has at least met that consistently without fail....Poland met it in 2014 and have continued to do so...in fact increased it recently.
Of the most populous countries not a single one has, until and for the first time, the year after Putin invaded Ukraine.
The most important part of it is that it was also agreed that of the 2%...20% had to be spent on new equipment. That is multi billions worth of £€$ worth of upto date equipment that they haven't bought and can't bring to the battlefield should war break out.

He eventually recovered without lasting consequences. (very debatable)

A former friend of Kennedy was on the radio last week, he said his former friend suffered a complete character change due to the nematode worm that was found in his brain. He said he wouldn't now trust him to drive a vehicle, let alone run an office of state. He thinks he is functionally insane.
