They aren’t calling BFC tinpot. They’re talking about things to look forward to, and despite appearances, Oakwell (Barnsley away) is generally seen as a top away day.

Personally I never had a problem with our ex players as long as they left in the right way, Brown and Clarke went via other clubs, Walton has barely played, Morris has done well for them, we got a decent fee for Mads and woodrow left to play higher up after our relegation, I've probably missed some more players, but I've nothing but admiration for Luton, they got absolutely destroyed by the EFL, built themselves back up all the way to the PL, if fairytales like this stop happening we might aswell pack in. A season in the PL might have gone to a few fans heads but its a tiny minority, on the whole good fans, good club, I've never understood the booing and abusing ex players (with the exception of Sam Winnall) someone sat near me last season for the Derby County game and the abuse he gave Hourihane was just awful, CH loved his time here as a player and gave everything. Think there's lots of envy towards Luton that comes across as misplaced bitterness because they've done well
Imagine half of the league 1 teams singing "what a ******* shîthole" when they are playing at home... That must be embarrassing
Playing Plymouth tonight in a relegation 6 pointer and there starting 11 had no ex barnsley player in it. Bet that hasn't happened often in the past few years. Couple on the bench though.
One thing that comes to mind with Luton, is maybe they have accepted their size as a club, and place in the pecking order, and decided not to throw money at being something they’re not. If so, it’s refreshingly honest, and because they’ve got such a small ground capacity, they can’t have too many glory fans to upset.
Got planning permission granted for a 25k all seater new stadium. Maybe there putting there money into that instead.
Yeah, it’s a strange one that. Over the years they’ve revised their plans for the new stadium. It seems like they’ve got more ambitious with the capacity to tie in with their success. Will be interesting to see if they revise the capacity downwards if they get relegated this season. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Power_Court_Stadium
It’s not a huge amount for a championship club with parachute money though. Birmingham spent far more in league one.
Why, mate? Why do you dislike them so much? I don't mind Luton. Don't particularly like them, especially now they have a set amount of fans who are billy big ballhocks due to having 1 season in the premier league.
I know you weren't asking me Frog, but I've also made my thoughts clear about them on here. I can't stand them either!.
