He's on borrowed time. He knows it. And I still feel very sorry for him. Because it'll be him that loses his job, not Sormaz.

I think players have heard the "death rattle" too.

We would be third in the league if games finished at half time.
No idea if that's true but love how he uses it to give himself a pat on the back for his pre match talks but refuses to take responsibility for the 2nd half shambles by blaming what he calls other variables then immediately states the players are soft and flaky.
Yeh it's all the players fault Daryl. Not saying they aren't blameless but I bet they just love playing for this man.
    Get rid

Professionalism should be the core from the u12s to the here and now.

For me it is the players though, who are mostly to blame. And if it were possible, they should be taking more of the responsability.
However, I do have to agree a bit more now with the negatives about Clarke. He really doesn't make it easy for us, and he doesn't do himself many favours.
And compared to Collins then, how much will it cost us to sack this latest manager/coach ?.

What motivation must Clarke be to the squad.

If he has to criticise then do it privately not publicly.

I'm guessing quite a number of our lads just can't be arsed with him anymore and have nigh on downed tools.

"the players are to blame", of course but the thing is players are human beings like everyone else.

If you are enjoying work you go in early and you're motivated to do well and put in a 110% shift because you want a promotion or a pay rise or you're new and want to learn a skill or whatever, if you hate work then you turn up do the bare minimum steady away thing and take home your pay cheque and probably wish you were working somewhere else, and if you don't mind work but don't love it then you're probably somewhere in between

football is exactly the same. You have to get players to buy into something that they believe in, they have to believe that you are a good manager leading a good team that can achieve something (even if the team is ***** you have to make them believe it's good or can be good), otherwise they switch off and are just thinking about themselves where can I get a transfer, where can I get more money, or I have 3 years left here I get x amount a week so that's me set I don't care if we're in league one. All our players are pros so to some level they should all be putting in a shift that is good but so is every other team in the FL, its that extra 10-20% out of each player that makes the difference

Clarke has now gone full 360 in his interview with Doug this morning, the top 6 ‘is now a long shot’, this is after he’s been banging on about making sure we make the top 6 all season.

I’m sure that the players will be enthralled to push on after reading that! Goodbye, Darrell… you aren’t fit to be in charge of this football club. Don’t hit the door on the way out….

A loss tomorrow and I think he’ll be gone. Need to bin Sormaz off as well if that’s the situation as I don’t trust him to appoint his replacement. Unfortunately a loss tomorrow will also come with a bottom half place by the end of the day as well.

Do you not think the players might have looked at the league table?

That’s pretty much a speech to text AI conversion that’s not been checked and out straight out.
