    Archer is overated but how embarrassing to struggle to defend seven an over against a team who are having to play their reserve bowling attack.

    No, you’ll have to explain that one.

    I’m not sure how it’s in any way relevant them having a reserve bowling attack when talking about defending a total…

    It was always going to be high scoring. Batter friendly.

    You’d always want to chase on it.

    Looks like they’ll get there at a canter, thirty four needed off the last five.

    And the fact the lad who’s carrying his bat to a win for them was born in Yorkshire makes it hurt all the more too!

    Easy win. Unless we see a miracle in the rest of the tourney i think it signals the end of Joss’ captaincy. Maybe the selectors need to go too.

    We got seven an over against a second string attack.

    If they had their first choice available we'd have got somewhere between 250-300 which would have made a chase they made look easy, look even easier.

    We should have won.Bad mentality, Joffra dropped the catch then put his head in his hands rather than retrieving the ball quickly and acting like it was no big deal and he'd catch the next one. Aussies knew they were on top.

    Such a boring tournament so far. Another day of runs on the board chased down.

    It's the same in the WIPL. Yesterday was the 8th match of the tournament and the first time the chasing team haven't been successful.

    A couple of T20s today USA chased down against Oman and Zimbabwe against Ireland.

    The sport is losing the art of defending a total. Everyone knows when toss happens that the winner is 9 times out of 10 going to bowl first. Especially if the weather is due to be fine all day.

    I wouldn't say boring @dreamboy3000 , there's been some great catches, periods when either team could win and a good atmosphere. Pakistan started very strong.
