https://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/spo...er-plus-an-admission-after-derby-loss-5002927 Apart from his sarcasm about our injured keeper, and not mentioning the handball penalty we should have had, I agree with him. They could have easily had a penalty. I was expecting it to be given. The one he gave us was a definite penalty.
He's not helping himself against stuff like diabetes, high blood pressure, and putting a stop to our fans calling him fat. You'd think someone would have a word with him as I'm sure loved ones will be concerned about his size.
I’d have had no issue with them being given their penalty (even though it was more a foul on o’Keeffe than against him) - had he given the one on Phillips before it. The handball one is just a joke - I can excuse the ref not seeing it maybe but the linesman? As I said on the matchday thread, it’s either cheating or bottling it. There is no way he didn’t see it.
The lino had a completely unobstructed view of it, I honestly can't think of an excuse for him not to flag.
Yeah, I thought the same today too, being involved in professional sport must give him all the support that he needs to make healthier choices. He's probably so wrapped up in the job that he's neglecting his own wellbeing.
How can his players take him seriously? Here is a fat ******* who must be constantly shoving food down his throat and he's in charge of a professional football club. All he ever sems to do his run his mouth at the officials, he can't have long left there. If he does go then I wonder if they'll make a play for Paul Warne.
I get that he's a marmite character but he's a decent manager at this level and left Stevenage in a good position. Rotherham could do a lot worse than giving him a bit of time (even though I couldn't believe how poor they were today). Warne struggled to get Derby up with far better players.
Am I right in remembering Charlton were like them last season? Signed loads of players and couldn’t get a tune out of them.
Takes me back to stopping at my grandparents in the 70s. Always had a comic delivered on a Saturday morning, and fish and chips for dinner religiously. Irreplaceable times.
THAT is brilliant. Johnny Dexter! Wow! Coach was a foreign guy Victor Boscovic. Still hope for Evans.
He can’t be very active in training. On the sidelines coaching it should be easy to clock up the miles. I suspect he likes a whisky or two. His blood pressure must be sky high. Candidate for a heart attack - which is not something anyone wants to see.
