As poor a team as they have ever turned out against us. We weren’t great, but I do recall a huge amount of hissy fits being thrown about in June/ July last year when they were signing players.
I couldn’t believe they only had about seven and a half thousand home fans for a derby game - the team must be that poor consistently
All these comments about us not being great. I’ve moaned like **** about us this season but we were good today. Rotherham had 20 minutes all game and we had the the rest.
And obviously their fans aren't happy after that today... Saying things like sack the useless manager (Evans), the players should be ashamed of themselves, these are terrible performances, and the club have no ambition, etc. Well, this all sounds very familiar doesnt it, to what we also regularly say on here!.
Thought there away support at oakwell this season was good. But yesterday poor numbers and quiet all game. Yes I know they haven't got much to shout about but the atmosphere from the home ends was non existent. The signings they made of older "experienced" players some on here would be loving us to sign players like that.
We can’t really say anything about home atmosphere as ours is terrible to be fair. Agree that their signings haven’t paid off but I still think someone like Clarke-Harris would have been an asset to us and Wilks on loan definitely would have. How we’ve ended up with such poor options up front is unforgivable. It’s the main reason we’ll miss the playoffs. Yes, we’ve been terrible defensively but we haven’t got striker with more than 4 league goals which is ridiculous. Before anyone mentions DKD, he’s not really a striker.
Spoke to some of there fans they said Wilkes is a good player. Clarke Harris is injured more than he plays and was a bad signing in there opinions. And they weren't surprised by hugills open net miss that sam Cosgrove would have been proud of. Yes that's what I mean oakwell isn't great at times but on the reverse fixture there was abit of singing in the ponty. Nothing from Rotherham yesterday very poor.
