That's mint. Well in. Make sure you're not just doing more and more each week. Have a few weeks of keeping the same distance but upping pace, adding more climbs etc. Marathon not a sprint and all that. I joined Barnsley Harriers and that made a massive difference to me too.

I've done three half marathons in the last 3 weeks. I can only seem to motivate myself to run fast when I am in a proper race. 4th one coming up this Sunday. Previously done marathons and ultras but my body recovers much better from the shorter stuff, so have decided to give that a go for a bit and see if I can rebuild my fitness.
Dartford this Sunday mate. Then I've got a week off before the Surrey half. Did Manchester marathon a few years back, was the first time I broke 3 hours for the marathon, hellish last few miles as I remember.
Sub 3 is very impressive. 3h 22m is my best. I've done half marathon in 1h 25m, but that second half of a marathon is a bstard. Today's dinner time outing
