    No I thought he did ok today - just thought his choice as sponsors motm was bizarre; there were others who affected the game much more

    Like said I didn't think he was motm or (player of the match even) i thought dkd followed by Roberts he was one of the better performers though Russell.

    That’s the performance I saw from Russell too. Competent, but nothing spectacular.

    He's a midfielder I don't think that's a bad return he also does alot of breaking up play etc which goes unnoticed but the stats back up.

    I thought he won the ball well, held it up well at times, tried to get us moving forward throughout. Decent performance. Nwakali was - again - the poorest of the midfielders, including subs. I reckon a corpse could run beyond him. And when his passing game is off, as it was today, he doesn’t really offer much. Glad Luca is back.

    I had DKD, Roberts and Phillips in that order.

    Also, it’s the sponsors’ pick. I’ve known them choose their favourite player many times, and on plenty of occasions, they’re that pi**ed I doubt they’ve seen much of the game.

    Roberts was man of match, as you say it wasn't Russell's worst game, but he wasn't that good
