I think I say this every week to him mate, but as Acido points out, he just comes on, makes a fuss, then doesn't bother replying to half of comments. I do believe he's just fishing at this point, mate.
Whichever category it actually is then..... Moan moan moan = very sad Fishing = extremely sad and pathetic
He does have a point... Our bench warmers. You're better off throwing me and thee lot on the field. My point is different to Scotts. The reason why we are so inconsistent in a match let alone a row of fixtures is because we have tidy players mixed with ***** players that should be playing for frickley. Totally unbalanced Happy with the 3 points. 3 wins on the bounce. Can't complain but I know I do know our concerns...
Here we go again Scott. You're aiming your disgust at the head coach, but then you have a pop at individual players for not seeing the game out. Which is it? Bad head coach, or bad players in which the head coach had zero influence in bringing to the club? For the record there's no way DC asked the club to sign Clement Rodrigues. Like you and me, before transfer deadline day, he would have never heard of him. You've singled out O'Keefe & Nwakali for criticism today. My question to you is, with the options DC had on the bench, to control the game at 3-0, what would have you done? Knowing that you have another game on Tuesday, and trying to keep your best players fit & available?
I was disappointed today. We tried our hardest to lose, and the biased Ref let us down by only adding six minutes on at the end.
Actually on the subject of Refs I thought today’s had a good game. Barely noticed him and didn’t see any major errors
I’ve a quest for you next game. No matter the score or performance, I want you to come on here and say something positive and nothing negative. Bet you can’t do it.
I do think you have to back your comments up. It’s cowardice to come on throwing bombs & then not debating when people reply to you
He booked two players. O'Keeffe for one of the latest tackles I've ever seen on Jefferies. I hope it's been recorded for prosperity. The ball had gone 5 minutes earlier. Yellow card all day long. And then Jefferies wanted some pay back and gave, I think it was Benson but might have been someone else, pretty much the same treatment. Not as bad as O'Keeffe's, but still a well deserved yellow. And up to the 85 minute mark I thought the ref had got everything spot on. But in the final few minutes Watters was taken in a headlock and wrestled to the ground. Twice. To be fair to the ref, I don't think he saw the first one. It was snide and I think the ref was blindsided. But he definitely saw the second one and he bottled it. Other than that, he did well, but that was a really bad foul. He didn't give it because it was very late in the game, near the corner flag, and would have resulted in all sorts of shenanigans, with us taking short free kicks to waste time, them trying to kick us up in air, and the ref having to deal with a whole load of nonsense that he had no desire to deal with. Fair enough, I can understand that, but Watters has been crocked twice recently by similar players doing similar things and it's had a serious impact on our season. You've got to call these fouls.
Was just about to say the same, mate. Other than maybe a couple of soft fouls, and I believe he gave a goalkick instead of a corner wrongly, he was fine. No really big calls to make, but as we've seen, there doesnt need to be any big calls for us to have a crappy ref. Thought he did really well and tried letting the game flow. Edit, actually - just read Jay's post and he's completely correct, I forgot about the incident with Watters. But compared to the usual lot we get, for majority of the match, was fine.
Just a wind up... 3 pages.. no reply from OP. Loves to moan just to get people agitated. Dont give him the pleasure.
Now I've given up hope of the play offs i can just take the games as they come. 7 goals, Robbo immense at the back, DKD showing what a good signing he was, Gent giving his all I enjoyed the afternoon!
