Great camera angle. Couldn't see a thing.

It was at Oakwell where he celebrated like that if I remember right. Wasn't it because he thought he was offside.

Kop end at Oakwell, v Man Utd. He looked way offside but carried on and clipped the ball beautifully over Schmeichel - in off the bar.

    Pure poetry!

    WTF was that?

It was a great goal that this footage entirely failed to capture. Reminded me of watching Tom Baker in Dr Who from behind the sofa in the 70s.

I don't know what is worse. The piss poor effort at recording or the fact that the club proudly put this on social media

Seems to me that any output will do. Quality of secondary importance

During a live football match, when you're filming a really tight angle, it's not always easy to get everything in frame. When you're broadcasting a live game, the wide angle is the go to shot as that should always have the action in frame. You then pick up a tighter angle if they've got a good one, but probably wouldn't stay on it long. I've no problem that whoever is filming this didn't manage to capture it. Happens all the time. You just don't use it. You use the more appropriate shot.

That this footage is poor isn't the problem. That they've decided to use it, I just don't understand. I know there's at least two much better recorded views of this goal because I've seen them.

You're right of course but vertical recording of a football match seems a bit daft

I've got to confess I didn't celebrate the goal in disbelief either. Even looked to the linesman for Phillips' goal. I know we don't have VAR in League 1 but I've watched that many Spurs goals chalked off that it's become a habit.

Quite possibly the worst goal footage I have ever seen. Might as well have been pointing the camera at the car park.

May as well have been filming a workman eating a pie.

That's beyond random. Oh look, ball bounces into the net of its own accord.
