Don’t get me wrong I don’t think he’s the man for a crisis and he definitely looks like he prefers attacking to defending!

But these rumours of him being the illegitimate son of Scott Wiseman are way off the mark.

Has that been confirmed by Clarke (or Doug)?

Clarke mentioned it on Saturday on radio Sheffield after match

Ruptured his achilles tendon and is out for the rest of the season.

Terrible news, wish the lad well in his recovery but that’s going to be a good 9 month out ain’t it?

We cannot afford Farrugia getting injured again …

Shocker of an injury is that. One of the worst. Need Farrugia to keep fit now as we don’t want the Wolves lad in at LWB after what we saw on Saturday!

Be lucky to see him before 2026.

Oh dear. Terrible news for us, the Club and for GG.
Hope the recovery goes well, Georgie.

Awful news I think he will come good in time Gent. Speedy recovery.

I did the same on the Saturday before Christmas, dancing at a party. I've been in a Vacoped boot ever since. Hopefully it's coming off next week, but then back to crutches for a short while and I'll have 3 more months of rehab after that. He may well have an operation - I wasn't offered that, I think recovery is a bit faster that way, and a better 'fix', but there is more chance of infection which is difficult to get rid of in tendons.

He’s had a tough first season for us.

I think he can come good but I think we’ve hung him out to dry more times than needed.

Hope he comes back better next season whenever that may be.

Was motm at home to Rotherham early in the season by some distance, had some tough times and been critised by fans but which players haven't. Did well Saturday until the slip. Still only 21 with experience I think he will come good. Obviously this could be a big set back for him.

Gutted for the lad. He’s been thrown to the wolves at times this season and made a scapegoat at times by the head coach, but kept coming back for more, getting back to tackle and block crosses, and always wanting the ball and not hiding.

    All the best Georgie lad.

I think 9 months would be about right. So some time early 2026.

Horrific news for the kid. And a blow for us moving forward, considering Farrugia has struggled to put games together without issues.

Haven't back to back Achilles injuries kept Dike out for basically two years? Sickening for him.

Going back to Saturday - physio can’t come on without referee consent. Unless that has changed. Ref didn’t give consent straight away.

Although we haven’t had loads of injuries over the last few seasons, the ones we have had have been pretty significant and lengthy - we’ve basically lost at least 4 players completely who could have had a very different time with us:

    Benson
    McCarthy
    Cundy
    Wolfe

I hope this doesn’t go the same way. Just at the wrong. All the best George

We'd be alright as your 2 as physios, you ever had cramp in calf?if you have you'd av been saying that's him done with football,it fckin kills, these commentators that say it's just abit of cramp,it's worse than a kick in balls, hope he's OK though joking aside.

Add Jalo to that list too - who would have been starting quite a few games this season.
