As a business, I don’t expect to see any reductions - and nor should there be. It’s not sustainable and the board have been open about finances.

Minimum Wage gone up again, Nat Ins up by 1.2% and general inflation.

It’s difficult out there for many businesses, as it is individuals. We have to be honest about it.

A freeze is about the best we can expect, but perhaps with more incentives such as flexi-options and 0% options.

With 0% options, the price ain’t too bad - but we also have to remember that the cost of doing the 0% deal has to be covered somewhere in the business - these offers are not provided free.

Tough one for me whether to renew or not. Moving to Cheshire way on come May, and the cost just may not be something I’m willing to do factoring in the season ticket - £400 - then travel every second week averaging £30 per time x 23 = £690. £1090 to watch us? I’m pondering

Chance for them to do a Wrexham style bit of marketing. Get Nareev on camera, putting on a Yorkshire accent "nah then, thas got tu buy these season tickets or else wi fooked I tell thi. Sithi".

Doesn't matter to me whether they go up, down or stay the same, I won't be renewing (unless Salford and Wimbledon get promoted).

The Club is directionless and moribund and has been for some time. I'll still attend some games home and particularly away, but there are other things in life so I'll chose my games more carefully.

Hear what you are saying but are you seriously suggesting we’ll get 8000 sold ? There’s already loads who have paid this season that have jacked, loads more saying they are done think this season but moreover he constant cycle of changing head coach and starting again and the downgrade in quality of everything plus increase of cost of refreshments and the clear lack of ambition shown in January may just be the straw that broke the camels back.
Folk can bang on about how much out of their own pockets they invest Ave that we could go bust but ultimately there is no ambition so what’s the point ? Other clubs manage it.
I think even getting to the play offs won’t do it ( we won’t) promotion would ( we won’t).

I wont get one. Dont care if they're £30. I used to be a season ticket holder for years. Until I see something positive, gradual improvement, hope, good recruitment, good management and entertaining football that makes me feel ok even when we lose they can bollux. I'll go to the odd game and keep my money for myself. And please dont tell me I'm a crap supporter and am ruining the club. I'm a good supporter and its the board and constantly bad decisions that are ruining the club.

This with bells on they are in for a shock this close season, some will be hollow words even the reality of DIY or Meadowhall dawns but if you are like me sometimes the weekends are the only chance to get owt done breaking off to trudge for the inevitable afternoon of misery loses its appeal the longer this lot are downgrading the club!
That thread and post about it s having the 4th largest wage bill must be BA even taking into account we have a lot of players who are much of a muchness, the only thing I can see us 4th biggest wages on Fischer given we have umpteen, many of whom seem to offer nowt, Conor for one

You're definitely not renewing but you might if Salford and Wimbledon are promoted?

    It's your business, but why?

    Time will tell.

We seem to have a core base of between 6,500-8,000 regardless. Rest is dependent.

To many, it’s more about the social aspect, than the actual football. Trying a new Stout or IPA out in Town before the game, is often the highlight, not the match itself

I agree and believe that if you took the social aspect away we would only get around 4000 ish season ticket holders

I seriously expect that core base to drop to 5000 this summer. Be amazed if we sell more than that.

Been six times this season. Think I'm doing quite well with childcare factored in. As 5hi te as it is. Think I've found a happy medium so can't see me buying a season ticket anytime soon.

My iFollow subscription is on auto-renew, so I'll be here.

Tuesday and Saturday wouldn't be the same without:
    • Listening to the crowd noise, as the commentator hasn't turned up yet.
    • Waiting 15 minutes for the commentary to start, due to technical difficulties.
    • Listening to the very biased opposition commentator, as our commentator hasn't turned up yet.
    • The feed suddenly freezing in the 75th minute, and then restarting somewhere in the first half.
    • Flipping over to BBC Sports to check the score, as the feed froze in the 89th minute.
    • Watching a pointless replay, as someone (usually the opposition) score in real-time.
    • ... :D

First season since 90s I've not had a season ticket. I can't say I've missed it at all. Was planning on picking and choosing games, but not been to a single game yet. Had seen every game (sky/iFollow) until about 3 weeks ago when I decided the entertainment value wasn't even worth the tenner, so I knocked iFollow on the head, just watch whatever is on sky.

Amazing we got this new tv deal to basically piss football fans at being broadcast tv when they feel like it yet it’s still the fans that have to put hands in their pockets when once again the only people who have benefited are players/agents and managers. Footballs got its priorities all wrong tbh.

It’s not about crap supporter v good supporter. To me there are 2 things here, if you’ve stopped going and are fed-up’ then that’s a shame but fair enough, if you’ve done that and lost all interest, again that’s a shame and fair enough. However, I would argue anyone claiming to have lost interest and continue coming on here suggests that you haven’t really lost interest. Also, I’ll say again, how can things improve with less revenue due to Reduced ST sales and pay on the day support?

It has, but it’s hardly a recent thing. The Onset of the Premiership set the ball rolling for me

They are two grounds I need to visit. Season ticket makes it more likely of a ticket.

It’s also nearly time to talk about the new kit and how it won’t be available fir folk to take on their holidays, we’ll be speculating on design and manufacturer to find out it’s still bang average Puma! For years it was always the last year of the Puma deal, probably said 4 or 5 years now nothings said about it we just wait and eventually there’s another bland Puma effort.
This seasons kits will take some beating though! Could only be worse if away was blue and white stripes, with 3rd white with yellow and blue trim
