Daryll is the scapegoat! The guy to fall on his sword. All our woes are laid at his feet. Hopefully we win the next 2, the club can say we have turned a corner. Let’s all get behind Connor as we look to start building something special next season. Let’s make sure we’re a part of the ‘next’ chapter. Don’t miss out, get your tickets here, sign up quick & help support the club, building & improving over the summer. If we lose the next 2 or 3, I’ve no idea what their plan of attack is. Bold or stupid, we will soon find out.
Not to be a pedant. But Clarke didn't fall on his own sword, he was pushed onto it by Mladen et al. Rightly or wrongly we are where we are. Hopefully we see some sort of bounce as eluded to in the statement, personally I can't see that happening. The rot in that squad, nay, the whole club is too deep-rooted. I'd sack Sormaz tomorrow, limp to the end of the season and start again the day after the season ends. Whoever the next manager/ HC is, it's absolutely imperative that the board back them financially and allow them autonomy on signings, and absolute must.
No way paragraphs 3 & 4 are going to happen with this lot in charge. Could be a bumpy old time for the next few years.
I’m not renewing my season ticket until I know who the next head coach will be regardless of money and hopefully they get shut of Mladen and bring someone in with some football knowledge.
You will know in 10 games if DC was the problem we’ll either kick on like Everton / Coventry etc or we will continue as we were playing **** and getting beat at home by pretty much anyone who turns up I’m not one for sacking managers but I didn’t see anything to build from with DC - if the players were running their blood to water and we still lose or draw then fans can accept it - or if we were staying in games until the death and we’re losing out to that bit of extra quality from the opposition we can also accept but at the end of the day we were a piss poor collection on the pitch not one area of the team has improved since pre season no individual players have improved from last season we continually made stupid tactical mistakes we continually couldn’t change our shape to get back into games - the list goes on.
A good early bird boost would be to sack Sormaz and appoint someone with a brain (footballing one). If one believes what one reads on here about Sormaz' culpability they'll sell 30000 season tickets!
