Do you genuinely believe there is any kind of recruitment process to commence? Wasn't the new coach, as has always been the plan, in situ today?

MDG has so many touches because his first touch is like a baby elephant, the next two touches are trying to bring the ball under control as a result of his first touch

Phillips was anonymous today as is often the case, lacks involvement. His efforts today look poor, in comparison with Josh Benson.

Similar for Jon Russell, who did little in midfield, and Connell wasn't much better.

Just watched the highlights on Sky and our goal was fantastic in construction and a sublime finish. These players are capable of that so why is so much of the play so poor, week after week. Must be a mental thing

Would it though? Of course its frustrating that hes not the best of runners but i feel like in a balanced and well constructed team you have physicality in the rest of the team to let him concentrate on getting into space. Instead every player we seem to sign we value technicality over anything, which suprise suprise doesnt work in league one and wouldnt work at any level

when we equalised , given Mansfield's run of form I thought we would really go at them , should have known better really!

I neither saw nor heard what was going on throughout the match having spent a couple of hours in the valley bottom occupied by Fountains Abbey - no phone signal down there. I’ve not missed many this season thanks to iFollow and Sky but this sounds like another one to forget.

This season just needs to be over.

Sorry if this has been posted above:

It is a sad day when Mansfield Town do the double over us.

Aye o'reight. It ain't pretty at the mo admitted. But fold the club. I'd rather not see that happen. (Eg Bury were basically forced to fold) Your other choice is to put yourself out of your own misery and do summat else. Watching tarn is not compulsory.

Tongue in cheek comments on here are clearly not well read. Nor is sarcasm. Duly noted.

Apologies. I did miss it as tongue in cheek. Sometimes an emoji helps when feelings run high on a thread.

Yea agree with that based on stats alone you would build a team around Phillips (with aggressive tackling players) however there's an equal argument for Nwalki and Russell and maybe Benson.
