I have watched the reds for over 60 years, unfortunately we not performing anywhere near good enough, I doubt Conor is the answer but he might as well give it a go until the season finishes, we can't go up playing like this surely and imagine what championship teams would do to ours a the minute,we won't get relegated I'm sure but all reds fans have their opinion on current things going on down there, but constantly berating the team doesn't boad well them I'm sure, Keith Hill said in is tenure that the players preferred to play away because of the constant player rollackings they had to listen to, I shall renew my ticket as I always do but I want to see in the last 5 home games some passion from the players and I'm sure the crowd will respond to it, I want my visits to Oakwell be a pleasure not a chore COYR
TBF, and considering our poor home form and results this season, I don’t think the home crowd have been too berating of the players. Yes, they’ll be those that will castigate (even hate) individual players in some cases, but that happens during ‘better’ times as well. I’ve known it worse
Fair comment, but I suppose it's where you sit in the ground that you get different types of people whom vent their anger more than others
I don't expect many of our players will show more passion over the next home games than they have previously. Season is over.
The trouble is the club hasn't made a announcement of any kind that might encourage fans to renew next season, and I know loads of people who have given up already this season and arnt renewing either, sad times down at Oakwell I fear, my dad took me 1967 against York City we won 1-0 and there were less than 2,000 there that day, let's hope we never go back to those days
Don’t think it’ll get that bad just yet. Can seriously see crowds of 5,000 or less next season though if there aren’t major changes. To be fair there have been many games this season where actual attendance has been around 7k. Exeter on a Tuesday night is coming up. That’ll be a barometer of current feelings.
One of the things that I hope and many others hope, that will also improve the mood is… Barnsley FC can confirm that Mladen Sormaz has left his role as sporting director with immediate effect.
It won't happen like that. He'll slip out the side door like Khaled my wife's ok flatbread did. The club will retain an interest in his future.
Since our fall into division three, the dates that season tickets were released were: 22/23 - April 5th 23/24 - March 3rd 24/25 - March 13th So they must be close to an announcement you’d have thought. The Monday after a win would be favourite were I a betting man. Could be waiting a while.
I'm sure the club will still have the core 7500. It's a shame really because without them I wouldn't have much to bleat about lol .
