Barnsley FC are delighted to announce a price freeze for season tickets ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.

All at Oakwell would like to thank you for your support so far this season. 8,600+ committing for 2024/25 is a true display of loyalty and love for your Club.

The Club will once again run with an Early Bird sales period which is available to supporters and open from 12 noon today (Tuesday 18th March) running through until 4pm Tuesday 20th May. As with last year, the Club is thanking you for your loyalty by offering season ticket holders who have held a season ticket in any of the last three seasons, 2022/23, 2023/24 and 2024/25 the option to purchase for the 2025/26 season at the Early Bird ‘Renewal’ Price.

Any new season ticket holders will be able to buy their seat at the Early Bird ‘New’ Price. In addition, for the 2025/26 season, the club will add an additional payment plan for those supporters opting to pay for their season tickets on finance. We will be continuing with the interest-free payment period of 4 months alongside two other options of 6 and 10 monthly payments with V12 finance.

A season ticket remains the most affordable method of watching all 23 home league fixtures, with an adult renewal in the Norman Rimmington South Stand paying only £16.48 per game. The Club have continued to honour the commitment to keeping football affordable for families, with Under 14 prices at only £29 across the stadium, working out at only £1.26 per game.

Prices for next year's season tickets can be found here:

There are many benefits to purchasing a season ticket for the 2025/26 season which include:

    • Guaranteed seat for all 23 home league fixtures played at Oakwell.

    • Bring a friend for £10 to two designated fixtures during the 2025/26 season

    • FREE entry to Under 21, Under 18 and Women’s fixtures during the 2025/26 season

    • Early access to away fixture ticket sales before general sale.

    • 50 loyalty points

    • An opportunity to win a behind-the-scenes Stadium Tour.

To make the cost of a season ticket more manageable, purchases can once again be made via one of the following finance options with V12 finance:

    Four Months

Supporters are invited to take advantage of a four-month interest-free payment plan, with the Club footing the interest. This payment plan is available until 4pm Thursday 29th August 2025.

    Six Months

This purchase option comes with an 8.30% interest rate. Please note that this option will only be available until 4pm Thursday 31st July.

    Ten Months

This purchase option comes with an 11.01% interest rate. Please note that this option will only be available until 4pm Friday 30th May.

All applications for season tickets with V12 need to be made online and aren’t available in the Box Office or over the telephone.

Chief Executive Officer, Jon Flatman said: said: “We have frozen prices for season tickets for next season after consultation with the Fan Advisory Board and other relevant stakeholders.

A season ticket will always be the to be the best value way to watch Barnsley FC. The freeze is a thank you to fans for the support over the season so far despite significant rises in costs for the Club in areas such as national minimum wage, higher national insurance costs and increased utility bills.

The focus on improving the matchday experience continues via the proposed new Fanzone, Safe Standing and Oakwell redevelopments, with safe standing in the Norman Rimmington South Stand to be completed by May and a fanzone at a planning permission stage. The additional finance options and 15-game flexi tickets provide additional opportunities for those unable to commit to the full payment upfront and those who only wish to attend weekend fixtures now have the choice to.

We would like to thank all fans for their support.”

For the HUB of all 2025/26 season ticket information, please click here.

For the first time in our history, we are also offering fans the opportunity to purchase the Flexi 15 rather than a season ticket, for those fans mainly wanting to attend weekend games or unable to commit to all 23 fixtures. More information can be found here.

To aid with further queries, please contact the Box Office team either in person at Oakwell, via email (boxoffice@barnsleyfc.co.uk) or over the phone (01226 211 183). Response times may be slightly longer during this sales period.

18th of March and 20th of May are Tuesdays not Thursdays. Can't even get that right.

Our media department are useless that's why. Most places if you continued to make basic mistakes on a far too regular basis, you'd be pulled up on it or worse.

A freeze is the right thing to do, but don't make out you're doing us all a favour. If the club wasn't mismanaged and crumbling before our eyes, we wouldn't mind a small increase.

The whole club makes basic mistakes over and over - playing staff, coaching staff and everyone else.

I applaud them for the freeze. It's not what I'd have done, but I understand why they have. And I really like the accompanying photography. But I'm a sucker for that old red wall.

Really pleased to see them offer a 15-game flexi option also. It's another option on the table, as well as the various ways to pay for season tickets. The flexi works out around £23 to £25 a game. Similar to a match ticket? Can't be, otherwise why would you buy one? Difficult to gauge value without knowing the cost of match tickets. But, as I say, putting various options on the table is pleasing.

If they can get towards 8,000 by August, I think they'll have done well. I hope they now engage, communicate, and rally the fanbase. It doesn't cost the club a penny to be present.

It's a thumbs up from me. And I appreciate nobody had replied to this thread when I started typing so I'm intrigued to see how others have responded.

    Early bird
    Says 20th March Thursday (today)
    To 20th May Tuesday.
    From what I've read.
    Well done BFC
Good news all round. I'm aware of 3 or 4 i think that would take the 15 match offer.

Looks like they've changed it, if you compare what Newsbot posted with the current article.

It seems no incentive at all that. Good idea to introduce the 15 game flexi ticket but if it's not priced attractively it won't work.

Sneaky way to make people think actually ST is good value , they may not expect to sell any and hope people for an extra few notes will buy the full ST. Marketing

With respect. that's not how things work. The more you pay the more you save.
Or it would be a complete waste of time. It's like saying why stop there let's do £16 pay on day with that theory of Should be £240.
It works out at £22 per ticket if £330.

It's a good way to try to retain some of those who think they won't be able to attend every game and would otherwise chalk off getting one at all. £50 isn't a bad saving. Might also be a way to attract some new/lapsed fans who might not want to pay the full non-renewal price - it's a £90 saving on the Ponty.

The Flexi ticket is a great idea for plastic fans like me who sometimes just can't bring myself to attend especially over the last 2 seasons.

Problem is, it's hard to see any new/lapsed fans getting on board. It's more a case of trying to keep the ones we've got.
A saving of £49 on missing 8 games is not a lot. Realise it's a difficult pitch though......
