His comments in general as published today are in my opinion perfectly reasonable and empathetic to the BFC follower, with the exception of where he has to counter allegations of "greedy *******" etc.

When he's dealing with the morons I have no qualms about him letting rip. They started it.

 

My spreadsheet is mainly jam and occasionally lemon curd.

 

Whilst I get his frustration at fan chants to a certain extent (the greedy one is barmy), like you say it’s another own goal insulting them. I’d rather he admitted mistakes recruitment and playing style wise. He’d have more chance of getting fans back on side.
It could also be argued that our owners wouldn’t know how to run a football club if it smacked them in the face.

 

It is. It might be a regular chant amongst a small element, but doesn’t represent the rest of us.

Short of saying he's going to put in another 10 million to fund a tilt at promotion next season, I don't think anything he could say would appease the people who sing the "greedy b*****ds" song.

 

Maybe not. But it's only likely to intensify their sentiment and make their vitriol more toxic. I'm afraid he's let emotion guide his words and again, it's done him no favours.

If those fans who sing said songs don’t want to come any more that’s literally fine by me, and probably most other fans. Yes, he’s probably got things wrong in terms of recruitment of staff, players and other things too. But greedy *******? Far from.

 

Runs a club losing circa 700k a month and he’s put all of that structure in place and he’s throwing shade at people.

 

Fact is tho, even if they don't understand finances and balance sheets, they've been told plenty of times that the owners don't take money out of the club and infact keep putting in millions to keep us going. Yet they refuse to believe and continue to spout ballhocks.

What do you want him to say he's put millions of his own money in, yes he's got it wrong but greedy basterds chant must really piss him off. Well it would me if I was him.

 

Can’t disagree with his remarks regards those using that idiotic chant. He’s right.

But it’s not something I’d have suggested he say publicly.

 

Me too. Does right people think they can chant what they want like the JAQ song and greedy ******* etc then don't like it when he sticks up for himself after putting millions in each year.

 

The irony is the club is implementing safe standing for those he is refering to in that interview.

 

I take some people's views in regards club ownership with a pinch of salt. As some on here have wanted every owner out since john Dennis and as I tell people footballs changed since 1990s.

 

Thing is Andy he's been asked as question and he gave his answer rightly or wrongly, he gave a reply.Last week he was accused of been the silent man.
