Appalling language used in this thread. I'm not quoting it as I think it shouldn't be given more air time. Shameful.
How do you mean he shouldn’t be in that position? You mean that as the defender made a mistake it excuse’s his mistake? Some logic that.
Magennis old manned him, did him with the eyes - looked and shaped to cross then hit a shot. Poor positioning though, it has to be said - though I can slightly forgive him for not being sure where he and his post were, given there shouldn’t have been a chance in hell that Magennis should have had the ball and be approaching from that angle.
I genuinely wonder if Clarke would've got better results against these 4 sides Hourihane has managed us for. Bottom of the form table Mansfield (L), certain to be relegated Cambridge (D), lower mid table Wigan (D), and lower mid table Exeter (L). I don't know if he would have. The players, for the most part, look absolutely done. If we were earlier in the season I'd be genuinely worried about us being relegated.
That suggests you think we’re strong enough up front and in the middle. I’m surprised. There’s not a single player in the entire squad that would cause me upset if they left.
We have strikers who can't score We have midfielders who don't create We have defenders who can't bloody defend Flavell has again tonight made numerous saves and has no shame The one position we can't slate is a keeper who is just a bairn who's supposed to have seasoned pros in front of him.
To be fair all we need are some defenders, wide players, midfield players that can both pass and have defensive discipline, and some centre forwards. Not that far away. We’re only maybe nine or ten starting players from a decent eleven.
Come on, you can't expect us to compete with a team with (checks accounts) a third of our budget, whose fans are currently singing that they're staying up.
I actually think he would have done - we genuinely look to have a team with a coach in change that doesn’t have a clue. Nevermind Mladin is doing an excellent job according to Nareev.
Bet DKD can’t wait to get out of Oakwell and the absolute abomination that our club is right now. He’s the only good thing that has happened in yet another dour and miserable season
I lost interest after about the 4th week of this season, but I must admit it’s starting to hurt again. It hurts seeing what’s happening to this football club. That side is everything I never wanted to see at oakwell. No fight, no ambition, no nothing. If I could see effort across the pitch, I could stomach it. However this lot, no chance. There’s no heart, effort or desire.
