It’s just not enjoyable any more is it? I agree better going to watch a local non-league side.

No. It's sponsored by people who for many years had more money than sense.
Now it's sponsored by folk who've got more sense than money.

I'm trying to trick my brain. The tough times that make the good times so sweet. You need to downs otherwise there would be no ups. Horror films and grim dramas are enjoyable despite awful things happening. It's all part of the story. These are good times, in a way. See? Good times.

A lot I agree with, a lot I don't. Once a red always a red, a ticket holder to my dying day.

    You redz.

It won't be a long road.
It'll be a short road. Very short.
A painful execution but carried out swiftly
Swiftly? About 2 games after a 'boycott' at a guess. Because that's when they'll stop bankrolling us.

I watched a bloke on Tuesday go down to the perimeter wall booing as loud as he could. The man had a child with him presumably his son aged around 7 or 8 maybe. The boy looked at his dad as though to say "is this what we do".I hope the lad isn't put off by his parents behaviour and when the good times return I hope he reminds him how silly his booing was on the night of the Exeter game.

I kind of agree but.......I do find it hard to think that anyone, short of Chansiri expanding, could run/ ruin us any worse. Where is £750k a month going, half of its probably on Sormaz, cos he told Neerav it was the going rate.

Really sad read this. For the 1st time in my life, I can actually see a situation where the club doesn't exist anymore. Barring a miracle of sale to some rich billionaires who also have a good understanding of how to run a football club, I reckon the club could be dead in the next 10 years.

The club as a whole need to be more positive, yes we are losing money but so are most clubs. We want to hear we are going to get the best manager possible, not fitting the model but the best manager. We need to sign the best possible players to suit the managers vision, actually have a plan that the manager and players can get on board with instead of board level nonsense.

Totally agree on the money. I'm on record as not understanding it. I still don't understand it.
I'm just sticking to what is fed to us, like the good prole I am. :)

Thing to remember at times like this is as bad as it is, don’t let your emotions fool you into thinking it’s never been worse, or not for many decades. It has.

W6 D12 L28 GD -40 is only 3 years back, and the 2 seasons before that, we stayed up by the skin of our teeth, as we have done quite a bit over the years.

Yes, I know that was in a division higher, but in my experience, losing still feels like losing regardless of which level it’s at, and I don’t remember anyone going easier on players or managers because it was a harder level.

It’s not the first time we’ve been crap at this level either, so disappointing as it is, it’s not a new experience. The mood surrounding first part of the Lee Johnson & Hecky season was very dark, and prior to 2006 we saw some real dross and went into administration.

That said, I still went to plenty of games during those dark times in league 1, and never thought of staying away as a means of protest, and still don’t, BUT I am missing loads of home games now, and I never thought I’d feel so half arsed about going to Oakwell.
