Blimey lads I've just bought the Racing Post for the first time in a while.

Managed to snag a bit of 6s on Putyourhandstogether earlier in the week when Nicky was lying about Lulamba so I'm in a decent position on that.

Fascinating Novice Chase to start the day, but The Bowl looks the weakest renewal of it I've seen in years.

I think Impaire Et wins the first, but I'm not getting involved at that price.

The novice hurdle is a horrendous renewal - the winner of a handicap is now a short price fav for a Grade One.

I think there'll be a boil over in the Bowl - don't like any of the favs on the ground. I've backed The Real Whacker because I'm a glutton for punishment.

Lossie/Hill is tough. She should probably win over 2m4f, but she'll have been cherry ripe for Cheltenham and this may come too quick. I've backed the mare that finished 3rd at Cheltenham at 50s. Don't like Hill over the extra distance.

Lifetime Ambition in the Foxhunters is a strong bet. Not so long ago he was mixing it up with GDC and Fastorslow. Had form over the fences too.

Finally, Lucinda Russell can get compensation for the starters' shambolic efforts at cheltenham. Primoz was backed as though defeat was out of the question, only for a false start to basically end its race as it likes going forwards.

    All aboard.

Great sporting event. I went a few years ago, and got well oiled and won 5 out of the 7 races (although one of them was an EW 2nd in the national). Walked out 300 quid better off and pissed as a newt.

    What price is that?
I like Murcia in the 2.20. Form is deceptively good and gets a lot of weight from likely favourite

IEP wins the first easily; but the form well and truly turned around from Cheltenham in that.

Lulamba would have won by 5 miles, shame Henderson is a liar.

Best of luck, was there about 9/10 years ago, couldn't get served & the view was awful. Don't know your POV but never again

First year in the last eight years we're not there for Ladies day, a few lads are already away this year so the numbers were dwindling.

I never realised there were horses racing....
