The when things turn round to have folk come crawling. Not sure how you that would have been confusing.
The chairman doesn't he says everything's fine and is set to continue to guide the club in the same direction.
Okay so it clearly wasn’t that you have a WhatsApp group, or that you are buying a ticket for your daughter. So it’s either folk are gonna get a grip and buy a ticket or that they will come good, given how abysmally the season has gone so no idea why you needed to ask the question.
From the age of 12 BFC was my life. I had a Season Ticket, I volunteered at the club. I only paused my ST when I went to Uni. I even planned my Wedding around the fixture list. Lockdown showed me that you actually can survive not being at the game, although i was desperate to get back. But the decline of BFC and its connection to fans has also coincided with my kids being away. I simply don’t have the inclination to attend most of the time. It’s sad but attending on a Tuesday night on my own was not appealing. Barnsley will always be my club, but for so many reasons it’s a financial, physical and emotional waste of time, when there are more important things in life.
I had a good chat with Ronnie in Asda, at least a dozen years ago, and he came across as a really nice bloke, as you say. He introduced me to his wife, when she turned up, and she said people in Barnsley had always been so nice to Ronnie and he really liked living there.
