Is anyone watching this? Very funny and such a simple concept - chuck a load of comedians in a room together and the last one to laugh wins.
We watched it last week, as you say, it works so well because of its simplicity. Might have to give the Irish and Australian versions a go.
Think it's going a bit slowly tbh. I like bits of it, Bob is so funny but Richard just isn't going to laugh is he?
I had to keep reminding myself that the aim of the game is to not laugh because i kept thinking none of them are funny. Great show though.
Ive watched them all and thought it was really good. Must be cheap TV to make. They get 6 episodes out of a days filming.
Watched it all last week, really good, switched the Irish one off after 20 mins absolute dogger, might try the Aussie one next.
I think it has promise but bit of a ropey cast for me with a few who are painfully unfunny but I guess that's all down to opinions.
I watched this the other week, and thought it was OK, but I've since found myself talking it up, so better than OK .... I couldn’t so with the Irish one though.
I watched about 20 minutes of this. It's the first TV show I've watched in years. I won't be watching anything again anytime soon if that is what's considered entertainment.
I thought it was very good and a season 2 will definitely happen. It takes something special to make Richard laugh. I hope season 2 gets Jack Dee on there. My lasting thought was it's a damn shame Sean Lock isn't still around because he would have been made for this show.
It’s easy not to waste my time on this. Jimmy Carr. That’s reason enough not to bother. Pity Bob Mortimer has got involved. Loved him in WILTY and fishing with Paul Whitehouse
In other news, just read there’s gonna be a Saturday Night Live reboot in the UK. No idea who’s involved, but I’d put my house on it being terrible. Who comes up with these ideas?
It's the same guy setting it up who's in charge of the American version. An American creating a British comedy show - what could possibly go wrong!?
It’s just totally incompatible for me. From Jim Belushi to Kristen Wiig, it’s just completely different humour IMO.
