No one was saying that after the Exeter game. 1 win in 7.

Very true but with all the talk of what's going on behind the scenes etc etc it feels like it wouldn't take much to justify giving Conor the job and today's performance has probably done it.

Lose next week and everyone will want him out again. Lots of people like the poem If by Rudyard Kipling. I wish the virtues it extols were practiced more often.

Well done on the win today Conor. More please.

Let’s not get carried away by one result.

Hardest thing is to back it up regular now.

    4x more games.

All depends who we can realistically attract. If it's another schlopp/ashbaghi gamble then give it to Conor.
If there's a good un out there that wants to come then that's a different conversation.
I personally wouldn't be against Conor permanent, but whoever we get, he needs backing for once or it's rinse and repeat

Really pleased for Hourihane to get that first win and he’s doing it his way which is great , I’d love him to get the gig .

I suspect that if nothing else this sort of win will ensure that he is part of the coaching staff for the next manager (i.e. the club insists)

We played very well in the second half against Exeter until De Gevigney stepped in and lost us the game.

He needs experience alongside him if given the role.

Said it before, will say it again. Appointing Hourihane is a no-brainer. There have been signs of improvement in the last 3 games. Hourihane is bedding into the set up already. He'll possibly be cheaper overall than any incoming manager. And, as said, things are improving. The result today is irrelevant. If performances are getting better as I've suggested he deserves a chance.

Best we’ve played at home all season today and glad Hourihane has got that “monkey” off his back.

If we go back to 5 at the back and no wingers after today, I’ll be upset.

Just got back in. Most enjoyable game of football I have watched in well over a year. If the signs of improvement are CH's doing, then I am content with him getting the job. Let's see what the remaining 4 games bring. But joy, we looked like a team today.

Really enjoyed that performance, as you say, we played as a team and it was lovely to see. My teenage daughter back from uni said it was the best she’s seen in a long time as I’d warned her we wouldn’t win.
