Up there with one of the worst I've ever seen defensively. Bloke at side of me said when they scored to male it 2-1 he said we still needed another we got it and still lost. To concede 4 in 45 is shocking we must have the slowest defence in the league. Thought as good as Bland and jalo were Saturday they were awful 2nd half today qnd should have come off sooner infact only dkd came out of the 2nd half with any credit. One long ball and our defence was all over the place time and time again. So frustrating.
Second half is one million percent on our defence and keeper. Watched 4 simple balls played down the line, let 4 slow balls go across, keeper let 4 slow shots creep over the line. I would be happy if we got rid of all of them.

So we led 3-1 after about 65 minutes, and then we were behind 4-3, about 10 minutes later. To concede the 3 like we did in that spell of 7-8 minutes, well its just disgraceful. There's absolutely no excuses for the players, and some of our fans are saying they should even have scored more against us, during that 20 minute spell. And just think ehh, what if that had happened under Collins or Clarke, what sort of stick would they have got!!.
We need some defenders and midfielders with pace and bottle. We were chasing shadows and looking scared for big chunks of that half! Would that have happened with players like Mal Shotton, Macca, Redders Ian Evans, Stuart Gray erc , no because they eould have stood up to be counted!
Horrendous effort (or lack of) thankfully 3 games left to ship some of this shower out the door. Need a spine in our team and a leader not a fairy.
The defence was poor the second half and the goalkeeper was, well to be frank, pretty crap too. It looked like his feet were nailed to the ground as the shots that went in were not exactly blockbusters. He too, has a lot to learn on the art of goalkeeping as Jalo has on the dart of passing. Rule1 being... Do not pass the ball to the opposition.!
Yes jalo ****** up for the 3rd I think it was giving the ball away 3/4s of the way up field still had alot to do though which we made easy and Bland was a liability aswell.
You could talk about the majority of our second halves this season, even games we've won. Our squad aren't fit enough or have the legs or concentration to put in regular 90 minute performances.
It’s mad how many leads we’ve lost this season. Defensively we are a mess. Collectively and as individuals. The best of the lot is Roberts and we can’t rely on him forever. Shepherd and Lopata coming back and I’m looking forward to seeing how they get on in pre season but let’s not kid ourselves at the level they are playing at right now. I hope Shepherd comes back here and smashes it because I liked him before he left on loan but I do think some are over egging it a little bit.
I honestly wish I had checked the odds on an orient win at 2-0 cos as you say it’s happened too many times this season. Big clear out needed.

Mentality and focus of used teabags unfortunately. And that goes for the whole team. No excusing Robbo or any other "senior" players. They're all to blame. None of them have a clue how to manage a game late on when under the slightest bit of pressure.
If the other defenders had pace to make up for Roberts been so slow we would be okay but McCarthy and earl both too slow. Roberts was the fastest player in the squad in 2016 now that's gone at 35.

We score enough goals It's that defence for the last 2 seasons it's abysmal and worst I've ever seen. We've got dkd and Humphreys, Phillips, connell who would walk in any team in the league then we have a defenders that shouldn't be playing football let alone even playing Sunday league. If our defence was even average we would be promoted by now.
Phillips could mate and maybe Russell as he would adapt with better players. Every single defender we have wouldnt get in the Chorley squad
Our defence has been poor for a couple of seasons. Time now to clear out of 'defenders' who clearly aren't up to the task.
