Why have we given CH the job, useless and tepid again

Hey even though I also didn't want Conor to get the job... I'm not sure what our other options were.

The fact that they appointed him after the Bolton result shows that it was a decision made weeks ago and they were just waiting for the best moment to confirm it from a PR perspective.

 

Can remember the last time we shopped in L1 for good players, it will be academy youth and unknowns.
It's becoming quite obvious they've no longer the appetite to fund a promotion challenging team.

I agree mate and said a couple of weeks ago that bullsh.t bingo could be off the scale going into next season but what's done is done and I'm sure we'll get a few pleasant surprises along the way.too.

 

You are probably correct, begs the question why they can't be more honest about things and stop filling the fans full of S**t

 

They stated on record there was lots of interest, infact Neerav also disclosed there was more interest than last summer.

 

All the player interviews singing Conor's praises to help justify giving him the job probably hasn't done him any favours.
He needs to be backed within reason and left to get on with the job now

 

Must just be me then but I thought we played some decent stuff at times today. If DKD had his usual shooting boots on we’d have won that.
Not sure how anyone can be giving CH stick at this stage of season. I’ve been as critical as anyone but let the bloke put his stamp on things and see where we are come August. He’s was a winner as a player and wouldn’t surprise me to see him do it as a coach.

 

Without falling out, how can you blame the coaching staff and in the same breath claim the players are
Disinterested usless players
Isn't that why we are where we are
The Players aren't good enough
Simple enough
You can take a horse to water but you can't make it drink
and in Conor and his staff's defence you can't educate pork nor make a silk purse out of a pigs ear.

 

Quality replacements your having a laugh now is the start of our demise and it ain’t bottomed out yet.
We,ve just employed a manager who’s record is worse than the one they,ve got rid of.

Both of them sormaz clueless as he has shown us in his dealings. Sormaz needs getting rid of immediately if he’s still here and overseeing recruitment next season then god help us.

CH been useless as a manager so far and he’s made Clarke look like pep on lucozade yet we decide to give him the job as head coach.

duff and warne probably forgot more than what Connor knows about managing a league one team.

Harsh in my opinion
We get you are feeling frustrated and angry like the rest of us
But I'd suggest direct it towards where the real problems lay and leave Conor out of it.
It's not his fault he's got useless disinterested players is it now

 

• We’ve had 5 or 6 keepers this season
• The defence is too slow
• The midfield don’t track runners, lack fight and are all too similar and passive
• We’ve got one forward who can score, a young lad who’s injured and the rest are hopeless
• A completely unbalanced squad with too many very poor wing backs
• Until now we’ve been forced into a formation that doesn’t work
• We’re too ponderous moving the ball up the pitch
• Recruitment driven by data and not scouts
• We don’t look fit enough, the club has no standards and attitudes look way off what is acceptable

These as a bare minimum are what CH has to address between now and end of August. I’d bet a brass farthing that a lot of this squad are gone. We’ve got 2 maybe 3 players who are worth anything. In reality I’d keep DKD, maybe Roberts as a squad man and someone in the dressing room to convey what CH wants. The rest I couldn’t care less if they go. They don’t care about the club or have any loyalty, get shot. Change the coaching staff, too many failures on their CV’s. Bring in some winners or at least someone hard but fair, think Eric Winstanley. Let CH bring in the players he wants, scouted by HUMANS get rid of all this data none sense. Put some dogs back in the team who’ll fight, scrap and want every single ball to be theirs, sprinkle with a bit of quality and we’ll be more than fine. Finally and probably most unliked is if you’re not good enough, you’re not good enough, local lads or players from the other side of the world. Let’s get out of this mindset of he’s local he’s the next incarnation of Redders.

He’s played loanees today over our own lads. He was desperate for 3 points & knows he needs some positive results.
