There’s a few there I’d be looking to move on. Upfront I’m pretty sure Dallas will be off and I’d be trying to offload Max xG if at all possible. In midfield I can’t see much game time for Nwakali so he’d be one to offload I reckon. Neat on the ball but far too lightweight. At the back everyone knows I’m not an MDG fan but can see him staying, wonder if he could play right back possibly? Don’t think O’Keefe will be much use in a flat back four so he ought to be sold. Lofthouse is an interesting one as he’s played nearly every week for Burton on loan but mainly in midfield and done well. To be fair everyone in that list of defenders could be moved on for me.
Lot of work for Conor in what needs to be a busy summer.

Half of this board are up in arms because of results. The other half wanting him to play our academy players instead of loanees. because that is the most sensible thing to do at this stage, including me. There is no doubt in my mind Conor will try give us the football we prefer and hopefully bring success. So we need to give him a fresh start next season. I found the lembisika one a little strange. And Gauchi was never going to come back imo to sit on the bench. As we had no real option at no.2. I'm also wondering if a deal may have been struck with Gauchi as to next season. As could, I suppose the lembikisa situation.

Don’t know why folk are going OTT with the negative comments re CH, once again today was a carbon copy of our season.
Manager set his targets out, defence still manage to lose their men and said tactics could have resulted in us scoring four or five, we obviously scored one, hit the post and DKD has certainly had better days and could have had a hat trick .
In short as has been noted multiple times on here by multiple posters until the obvious shortcomings have at least been attempted to be sorted and we see what we start the season with, there is very little else the manager can do.
Also I think a lot of fans have forgotten the effect that dead rubber games can have as we haven’t had many lately, not bad considering past times when they virtually started in January!

To be fair to Lembikisa, he was that anonymous in the first half his colleagues didn't even know he was there, but did get more involved in the second.

Still only 21 mate so maybe a squad addition. Thought that was his best game today tbh.
Mixed reviews whilst at Rotherham. (Championship mind)
Lembikisa's time at Rotherham was a mixed bag. He showed flashes of brilliance in attack but also highlighted the need for more defensive solidity in his game.

I wondered that with Gauci and next season, especially given Conor’s connections at Villa. Thought Lembikisa had his best game for us (not difficult with how bad he’d been before).

Could add another 8 or 9 contracted players to that list but no other club would be stupid enough to even consider talking them on.

I already renewed, I don’t feel conned. I expect players to leave in the summer, I also feel more of the Academy lads will feature. I believe it’s going to be a tough season and not really expecting a promotion push, but I don’t feel conned.

no one should feel conned at this point - it’s been clear now for years that we have a board and owners that don’t have a clue how to run a football club and only taking us one way now and it’s definitely not up.

I completely agree about the team / squad shortcomings but the board didn’t. They told us the club is ran properly & that Darrell Clarke was underachieving.

If they choose to sack Clarke when I don’t even think a third of fans agreed with it then we should see a sudden improvement & we should expect it.

Instead it’s the second season in a row where us who supported the manager & felt he’d been let down by the people above him have been proven right whilst the supposed ‘experts’ making the decisions have got it wrong again.
