Get rid of lot bar Flavell and Humps. Then loan Flavell or Smith out to further develop em and sign a proper number 1.
Take up the extra year on Humphrys if he takes a pay cut, but tout him around whichever, incase someone's fingers are burning. Loan out Flavell to L2 if pos. Say taraa to the rest..... But, what's the deal with Lewis, if we're gonna play with wingers, have we seen enough yet? Is he ours, did he cost owt, is it a deal to the end of the season only, or was he a loan, can't remember tbh. If he didn't cost owt, on cheap wages might be worth a punt for a year? Or have I been in the sun too long today.
I reckon our French wonder striker as all ready said au revoir and pissed off back home and who can blame him.
Definitely, now we have confirmed Conor is the permanent manager and he wants to stick with using wingers.
Re: Lewis, if he was showing anything like the right level of ability in training you'd think he'd have got on the pitch the last couple of games to see what he's made of. The fact that he hasn't suggests to me he isn't rated.
Fair enough mate. Just doesn’t offer enough for me . Would prefer two young hungry players who would still be on a decent salary
Got to maintain some lads with experience who've been there and done it. His form under Conor so far has been great too. We definitely need a few younger wingers to offer competition as we transition to this 433 full time. Jordan Thomas from Cheltenham would be top of my list for one.
Isn’t Flavell attracting the attention of other clubs including the Blunts? If he does move we will be entitled to compensation agreed by a tribunal.
Agree proper keeper needed. So that would be pointless keeping both Flavell and Smith.. Hard decisions need to be made if we are to start to trim our cloth. As for Humphrey's Im sure he has a Norwood-esk like extra year thingy in his deal. Id expect that to be triggered. Even if only to see if we could get any money for him over the summer.. or at worse let him stay and walk on a free next summer. Conor seems to like him.
He is one of the highest paid. (6k) Behind Conor and apparantly 5k less than top paid on the books Nwakali. (Capology. I've no idea how accurate their figures are ) I'd certainly keep Humphries. Flourished under Conor who I get the impression. Rates him.
