    Academy centre mid at right back.

    The only forward in the team is a winger / ten at best.

    I was about to post that Shrewsbury are offering nothing in terms of a threat. And then they did.

    Not impressive from either side so far. Back to over-elaborating and then finding the forwards static and flat footed.

    Oh dear me.

    If Barry Cotter can be a professional footballer then there’s still hope for my childhood ambition to be an interstellar freedom fighter. Anybody got a spaceship with a laser gun?

    The shame is I want so badly for him to be good. I really do. I love something about him.

    But he’s really bad at football. Sort of a drawback in his chosen career path.
