Feels like a couple of digs at the top table. That’s him gone in the Summer then https://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/spo...nd-urges-support-for-conor-hourihane-5102601#
Well top to bottom except Conor 'the second coming of christ' hourihane anyway who has managed to escape criticism again.
Well, I wouldn’t be concerned if all of our current defenders are not at the club next season, collectively and individually, they’ve been very poor, with some poorer than others. Hope Conor can get a relatively experienced CB with leadership qualities in this Summer, to help bring on a new look defence with Jack Shepherd and the others returning in the Summer.
But for now people are saying that top to bottom the club has failed, except the manager who has been here all year. It's everyone else apparently. For me Marc Roberts' words mean nothing when they're so false and hollow
He may have been here all year, but I doubt he’d had much say/influence on decision making until he became care-taker HC. You have to cut him some slack for the short space of time he’s been in charge choose how bad you think it’s been. I believe if there isn’t a marked improvement in play and results he could be gone by Xmas, choose whether he ‘s been let down by the ‘Board’ or not
I see no reason to cut him slack. He's been in charge for 9 games and done twice as badly as the previous manager. The decision to give him the job after such an awful trial period is something that the owners need to come out and apologise for. And also if he can't take any responsibility because he was only a coach then his comments about changing backroom staff are out of order as they cannot be held responsible for anything just like he couldn't right? Similarly Roberts saying top to bottom includes the coaches but seemingly not the head one.
Great words from Robbo , make him captain next season and get him helping with coaching , sign a few more with same attitude. As you say the suits won't like it but this is where Connor and us fans have to back him
No doubt ST settled into every new job he had very quickly, and was totally brilliant at it from day one
Words spoken exactly how I’d hope a local lad would speak about his team too!! Personally I’d make him the club captain next season and have a match day captain
We should run an advert for head coaches, because to of the S**te posted on here, we might aswell. Oakwell the graveyard for head coaches, apply within Young, old, experienced, novice, someone eles team don't worry we'll take care of you, we'll gaurantee to start talking about the "S" word within 10 games or your money back
He's right, including himself too who sjobe bench warmer at best next season, but we should listen to offers.
The weird thing is, he used to criticise Hemsworth back in the day for his incessant posts about Hassell, yet here he is, doing the same thing. I like Supertyke. He means no harm. But he’s like a dog with a bone. He doesn’t like Hourihane. Great. We get it.
I see plenty reason reason to cut him slack, I’m sure he’ll have a say in any ‘rebuild’ they’ll need time to ‘settle’in ( though not much)
Robbo needs to go, he’s been nowhere as good as some have made him out to be. Like his co defenders, he’s easily knocked off the ball and finds himself in poor positions. Need a complete overhaul at the back
