Doubt it unless you’re 100+ , just giving an alternative view to yours , I haven’t been impressed with Robert’s since his return
I'll explain why he escapes criticism in easy terms If you have some one carrying a bucket of sh.i te and it stinks That bucket of sh. ite will still stink no matter what they do to stop it, plus no matter how many times you change who's carrying the bucket it will still stink It's only when you get rid of the sh. ite they are carrying that you can have a clean bucket. That easy really
But the bloke currently carrying the bucket of ***** has spilled more over the last 9 games, than the bloke who carried it for most of the season and the bloke who carried it all last season.
Not all about effort though. I like Roberts I'd probably keep him for one more season although his pace and awareness has clearly gone backwards since he left for brum.
It’s not the lack of effort is it. If that’s your total analysis of our defence this season then I don’t know what you’ve been watching. It’s quite a number of things including: the constant poor decision making, positional play, no anticipation, and the general lack of organisation. I’ve seen Robbo all too easily knocked off the ball too many times this season, his passing at times is woeful. He has been our best defender but it’s been as low a bar as I can certainly remember.
Lol whether he's spilled it or not it's the same Sh. Ite he's having to carry The players he inherited they had given up and were on the beach before he took over Plus that's maybe why the spillage occurred, and through no fault of his own he can't pick up the Sh ite that doesn't want to be in the bucket
Echoes my thoughts. I like him like you say he's been our most consistent defender but there's the lack of pace, positional sense, lack of awareness, poor discipline I've seen by robbo and the rest. Haven't only Shrewsbury conceded more goals than us this season? Says it all really.
Maybe wrong on this . I was told ,Robbo had told the head coach that our training sessions were no where near as tough as they were at Brum. Is there no wonder on 60 minutes into games our results would have us in 2 nd spot. How many goals have we conceded in the last 30 minutes. It's no surprise our fitness isn't competing with other teams. Maybe our fitness coaches need to up the ante.
Mentions consolidation in that interview. Not sure I like the sound of that. What's there to consolidate? Its been garbage.
Maybe that is a bit harsh ,around Christmas when we won 3 on the bounce and we was around the top 6 ,it wasn't that bad.
