Heyup. I simply think that so many people are totally disillusioned that they will vote for Reform. I think its as simple as that. There will be lots of racists voting Reform no doubt but there's a groundswell of anger because things look increasingly broken. Reform has not been in power so is not tarnished with the same brush as Labour or Tories. It should be because of snake-oil Farage but its not therefore it looks fresh. Farage talks a good game too and he drinks British pints so he's obviously one of us. My opinion of course. Just a view.

This. It's not as if Reform have sensible policies on everything else and just happen to be a bit dodgy when it comes to immigrants.

It's their entire platform - I can't recall them ever really advancing policy arguments other than "send the buggers back."

They've not been under the microscope yet but as I said above (and I could be wrong) they look fresh, tap into disillusionment and have a leader who exploits weaknesses and supposed lack of action by other parties. I suspect that the vibe from Reform for a lot of voters is enough. They'll be let down ultimately I think but for now Reform have a free run.

He also has the support of the press which a left wing party wouldn't get.

Exactly that Helen. Reform prior to today only had 5 MPs and one of those got the whip taken away but the amount of press and tv attention they get is absurd. The Lib Dem’s have way more MPs but get very little air time

Same old Tory’s. They’re a laughing stock, a lot of their voters have largely gone to RFM or LD. Labour are not fit to run a bath at the minute and people are disillusioned with them just as much as the Tory’s. Farage like him or not has stuck it to the Westminster elite and Reform and created a viable third option. People agree with what they stand for, I certainly agree with them on a lot of policies. You can nit pick , however none of us would agree with everything that the party you voted for stands for. And I wouldn’t say it’s a protest vote anymore, how can it be? They’ve been the blow away electoral success in the last 24 hours.

You're right, not wanting a bunch of millionaires only interested in their own elite, who want to end the NHS and have zero green policies, before you even start on their racist tendencies, to put it mildly, is merely nit picking.

Racist tendencies? Ending the NHS? If you’re going to reply you can put up a better fight than that pal, don’t lie. The NHS is on its absolute knees, they want an insurance policy based NHS , where you pay a very small premium.

To highlight a few, definitely agree with the raising of the tax threshold to 20k. Younger people need a better foundation in life. Slashing foreign aid is something that is vital, we are sending unnecessary money abroad to countries. And the fact that crime needs to be harshly tackled with in this country, it is an unsafe environment at large, due to the softness of policing and the judicial system. And also let’s get back to a meritocracy!

When you say the rest of Europe you actually mean France according to that article. It also says that it will fund the NHS by an extra £17b, but apparently no information on how they would fund this. If you believe the tripe that the millionaires in charge of Reform spout about helping the working man then you are delusional, they have zero interest in the normal working population

    Nice try, but no.

You think that voting for who will run the country based purely off what will annoy other people rather than actual policy isn't idiotic?
