Ismael gets a free pass. I look at ex reds players who didn't perform for us. It's an obvious and very valid thing to say that a player should always try his best. BUT.....in the real life even at our level they are prima donnas. We have mismanaged way too many players and that is a disaster. We've done this in my opinion because we've cut corners on coaches. Looking round today, brownhill captains a side to promotion to the prem with 18 goals. Styles destroys Luton, incidentally wba field more ex reds than Luton but morris was a half decent prem striker on his day. We look at players and often rule out the impact the coaches have on them. I say this now as a positive post because I think Conor has so far done two things right. Russell up front, humps on the left wing. Not rocket science...ask a player where he'd rather play, give him a go there. Get **** of Phillips, stick Russell in 10, humps on the wing, decent no 9 striker and we're good to go.

apart from a defence which seems incapable of keeping a clean sheet. Currently we need to score at least 3 to win a game.

We need to sort out our back 3/4/5 and goalkeeper before we can think about a top 6 finish.

Scoring 3 dunt always work, but your spot on, defence was dire at times.

We've conceded nearly 2 a game over the length of a full season. Easy to see where our major issues lie in the squad.
