I would expect this to be released pretty soon. Given we have known our position for a while for next season, know the contract positions it shouldnt take long. I guess it will be discussions with club and players first couple of days this week then it should be out. I would expect Connor to need as much time as possible to start the rebuild.

anyone have a view and know what the contract positions are?

Someone posted a brilliant list recently if they could repeat it. Deffo Pines and McCarthy contracts are up but sadly Mael is 2026, him and Watters would be my choice for sell for what we can get. Shepard, Lopata and Lofthouse due to return and look better than what we have. Assuming we play Lofthouse in his correct position.

Aren't quite a few of the players we need shut of under contract though, so by proxy will automatically be retained, unless we are adding people we want to sell to the list.
It would certainly be a statement if the list contained 4 names with everyone else being told they can fvck off

Suppose it depends on who ya wanna get shut of, opinions vary. I was in the get rid of Russell and Humphrys camp but after recent performances admit I may be wrong..

Think we have a year option on Pines too, though there’s no chance we’ll take it. Humphrys is 50/50, could go either way and I reckon we might get Gauci on a season loan.
Not sure on Lembikisa’s situation at Wolves but he’s not looked too bad since playing at RB in a four.
    The rest will be off.

Pity Russell isn’t on a longer contract. He could well end up running his contract down and leaving for nothing. Needs tying to a longer deal but very much doubt he’d sign it even if we could afford to offer him one.
Might be a decision to make if an offer comes in but he’d be a massive loss.

Who on earth thought it was a good idea to give O'Keefe a contract until 2027, in fact who thought it was a good idea to give O'Keefe a contract at all.

Could potentially be out this coming week given I’m fairly sure I heard Hourihane say they were going to have the discussions with the players in question on Monday. No need to drag it out.

I think there’s only Humphrys I would want to keep and that’s only the case if his wages aren’t crazy for us.

Out of the loans, I wouldn’t mind Gauci back and I think there’s a fair chance that could happen with Hourihane’s Villa connections.

I'd definitely be looking at keeping Humprys he's really come on under Hourihane

Looks a bit different now we have a coach who has discovered a simple rule of coaching: play players in their preferred positions. If gent comes back ok need a back up left back. We have the wingers, may be back up to humps. Need a right back with shepherd to come in the centre half alongside Roberts. I'm liking the thought of earl in front of defence as a defensive midfielder. Connolly and Phillips cash signs a proper striker for dkd to feed off. Sounds like Bradford will test us to keep shepherd but surely he's worth more to us. Btw forgot all about Dallas

Sormaz said 23 were under contract after this season, which includes U21's. I expect a list of players to be transfer listed in addition to the released list and contract offered lists.

Mael, Watters, Dallas sell or loan out but would prefer to see them depart.
Then everyone with the possible exception of Humphrys who's contracts up goes. With our 3 seemingly decent loans returning we'd already look better. Hold on to DKD and Phillips plus possibly a young Premier/ Championship striker on loan and it's moving in the right direction. would still prefer a proven goalie and many good suggestions posted on the BBS at times.
