    Jed Steer Peterborough has asked them to Cancel his Contract
    Played with Hourihane at Villa and they both had a bit of a chat at end of game other week

    Yes, I'm putting 2+2 together and getting 5

    Maybe 2 + 2 = 4 as a goalkeeper coach. ?
    After departing Aston Villa as a player, (2023) Steer acted as a commentator and pundit on the club's online streaming platform Villa TV while studying for a UEFA B Coaching Licence.[28]

    On 4 January 2024, Steer returned to football, signing a short-term contract with League One club Peterborough United to provide cover for the injured Nicholas Bilokapic.[29]

    Could do a lot worse than Steer for a year or two. Posh fans are disappointed he's gone, they like us have had a poor season, but he's one their fans say has been decent.

    Jack Walton is out of contract I think still only 27. Just been on loan in Scotland at one of the Dundee teams. Would you have him back?

    Luton have a years extension in their favour. Unless wages are a stumbling block. I can see em activating it. Wouldn't surprise me if Gauci is on our list of being a possible loan deal again.

    Ends 2027 and on $520kpa apparently.
    (£7.5K pw. Near enough) only signed for villa Jan. 24.

    Re Walton I'm a fan and would have him back in a shot. Scottish Premier or league 1. Would be a big decision for him. But I reckon he'd not want to go to league 1. Even with Luton. But they hold all the cards.

    Reading lutons forum they have a thread on keepers. https://members.boardhost.com/lutonoutlaws/msg/1746478126.html. they still have tim krul with a year left on big wages.

    I thought Walton was good we just had good goalkeepers at the time. was a strange one though didn't we sell him to Luton and bring in isted. Then the start of the season after our number one was a loan as isted went Charlton and Collins Coventry.

    I’d have Jack Walton over any other suggested on this thread - but Jed Steer does have the Hourihane link.

    Never been a fan of Baxter though I imagine all would be decent league one keepers

    Wouldn't be surprised if we went for him.

    Our current keeper coach Matt Gilks joined us after leaving Bolton. Gilks was there when they signed Baxter a few years ago.

    Watching the play offs Owen woodman of afc Wimbledon looks a class goalkeeper only 21 made some great saves tonight and played all season for them. He's on loan from Palace having googled him but looks one for the future
