    I'm sure we could still trigger the extension on Humphrys' contract if he doesn't agree a new deal, might just be a way to tie him down for longer.

    Hopefully we move on a decent number of the under contract players.

    With Humphrys it might mean we want to tie him down for longer than a year on a better deal?

    Even with the departures it's massively bloated squad. Feels like it's 4 or 5 players heavy, meaning if we bring that number in over the summer we'll still need to get rid of 8 or 9.

    That was the immediate conclusion I drew to Humphrys too.

    Reading that list is proof, if proof were needed, at how bloated with absolute bang average dross we really are. Bad window after bad window after bad window has caused this. And that has to lie squarely at the door of Sormaz and the owners for underwriting this madness.

    Absolutely massive summer ahead boys and girls...massive.

    He's 27 and will have been on modest wages (for a footballer) so far. I hate to say it, but if he doesn't force a move he wants his head checking.
