Totally agree with you RH. Quite simply my take on is that the SC ruling has made the world a safer place for my wife, daughters and other women - only a misogynist would have a problem with that!!
Your response to a woman being escorted out of the toilets because she didn't look feminine enough was "oh no she was embarassed". Who is showing themselves up here?
But you haven't shown any empathy on this thread at all. Which is what I'm going by. And btw, the few Transwomen I know don't go into women's spaces, they are able to see the issues that you clearly can't.
When you are too scared to even use the words trans women and have to use initials to dehumanise them I think you've lost your argument personally
Of the trans women I know, at least one hasn't left the house since the supreme court ruling because she has IBS and needs access to a toilet at short notice. While going through her transition she was routinely jeered when she went into a male toilet if she didn't feel confident or passing one day and as such started using women's toilets without issue. Since the ruling she no longer feels comfortable doing so and as such hasn't left her house. So please don't talk to me about ******* empathy. You have none. You just want to punish people that you don't think should exist and don't care about the very real implications of it.
Believe it or not the initials weren't meant like that. I'll happily type it out in full if that's how it would be taken
It's nothing at all to do with punishment, it's everything to do with biological female spaces being kept for the purpose they exist for. Go and campaign for more third spaces, I'll support that if you can't make the male spaces more welcoming.
Why do you refuse to realise it isn't just trans women it's trans men too. Trans men who do not feel welcomed in women's toilets. Why haven't you made them more welcoming for trans men? Why are you and your sex making toilets so unwelcoming for trans men? See Helen it isn't that men are this horrible species. Your sex is no better. Some people are good, some are bad
Oh please. Of course it's about punishment. If someone wants to assault someone, the supreme court ruling is not going to stop them. What they're doing was already illegal. The only thing this changes is to embarass and dehumanise innocent trans people.
If you read my posts you'd see there isn't really an issue with transmen women are good at spotting other biological women.
No, Stonewall pushed it into basically saying men who said they were women could go where they pleased. And that's what caused all the issues. Just because we're women doesn't mean we accept being pushed around by men, hence the need for the SC judgement.
There isn't an issue with trans men feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome in women's bathrooms? Would you like me to post you about a hundred tiktok videos from trans men in the UK who have said they feel uncomfortable and unwelcome in women's bathrooms? Why does your gender make them feel so uncomfortable? Why haven't you made them welcoming like you keep accusing men of not doing? Seems a bit hypocritical
Just men right. Not women. Nu huh it's just men. No trans men (or women as trans phobes like to call them) have ever tried walking into a male toilet. Nope nu huh it's just the nasty men going where they please
Again. Completely missing the point. The supreme court ruling does nothing to stop someone that was planning on assaulting somebody. They were already going to commit a crime. They're not going to think twice about commiting another are they?
You can't answer why your sex haven't made women's toilets welcoming for trans men because you don't have a tiktok account? What a bonkers answer. Even a politician would be proud of that dodge On an unrelated note, I can't tell you why I've just burnt my dinner because I don't have an Instagram account
