Barnsley FC are delighted to confirm a price freeze on season tickets ahead of the 2025/26 campaign — a huge thank you to the loyal Reds who’ve already committed for next season. As we begin to build for next season, here are five standout reasons to secure your seat at Oakwell today:

    1. Best Value – Big Savings

With adult renewals in the Norman Rimmington South Stand working out at just £16.48 per game, a season ticket remains the most affordable way to watch every home league fixture. Plus, Under 14s can enjoy the full season for only £29 — that's just £1.26 a game! Football for the whole family, without breaking the bank.

    2. Guaranteed Seat at Oakwell

No need to scramble for tickets each week - your seat is secured for all 23 home league matches. Whether it's a derby clash or a top-of-the-table decider, you’ll always be part of the action, right from your favourite spot.

    3. More Ways to Pay – More Ways to Watch

The Club has expanded finance options to make season tickets even more accessible:

    • 4-month interest-free payment plan (Club covers the cost)
    • 6-month option at just 8.30% interest
    • 10-month option at 11.01% interest
With flexible choices available, including the new Flexi 15 package, there’s a ticket to suit every lifestyle and budget.

    4. Exclusive Perks for Season Ticket Holders

    Enjoy more than just matchdays:

    • Bring a friend for £10 to two games
    • FREE entry to U21s, U18s, and Women’s fixtures
    • Priority access to away tickets
    • 50 loyalty points
    • Chance to win a behind-the-scenes stadium tour
Being a season ticket holder means you’re at the heart of Barnsley FC, week in, week out.

    5. Be Part of the Club’s Future

With developments including a new Fanzone and the introduction of Safe Standing in the Norman Rimmington South Stand, there’s never been a better time to be part of the Oakwell experience. The Club is committed to enhancing matchdays for supporters, and you can be there to enjoy it all from the beginning.

Season ticket sales must be poor as they usually love putting a number to it. So does that mean early bird price is on through the summer as the only price we are selling season tickets at or as this article been reposted by accident....

With the ongoing cost of living, everything going up. We know that the club are having increased costs.

It's to be applauded that they are doing this, but ultimately it does mean less to play with in terms of what we can get.

Hopefully they can spend more wisely this year, cos if not, it could spell disaster.

Hope they know what they are doing

I personally wouldn't buy one until they show their hand with the transfers.

Genuine question. They do advertise quite often. Allus have . Have they ever given updates as they go along. (Not sure missen tbh) or closer to to the end of the early bird. Or even after. ?. They extended it last season. May well do so again. Still ended up with just short of the total in 23/24. I don't think for one minute we will achieve anywhere near this season. Sky have kyboshed that. Regardless of performances on the pitch especially at home.

Be pleasantly surprised if we manage to top 7k for next season. Wasn’t it 8.6k this season just gone? Anything around 7k would be a good effort I reckon.

Really wow, I would be surprised if they sell 6000.

I agree Bazza,I would normally agree with what Hooky has said however this pre season is different. We have been poor for two years and recruitment has been dire. The board need to show early intent to show fans they mean business and the season ticket renewals will look after themselves.

If we sell under 6k the club really is in the s**t. Over last couple of weeks I’ve spoken with maybe a couple of dozen people and only 2 aren’t renewing.

7000 or 6000 is bonkers I’ll be surprised if they shift 5000, whether it’s bluster or not of all the people I know and have spoken to I’d say only about 3 or 4 out of 20 renewing, the apathy is unreal.
Personally I’m not renewing unless there are changes especially the sporting director and some statement signings, I’m not talking breaking the bank but we need good honest players that aren’t prima Donna’s.
