Conor wanting ex Derby team mate Louie Sibley on a season long loan from Oxford and wanting Ryan Ledson on a free after leaving Preston.

I thought he might try for Sibley (if true). Good player, would be happy with that. Don’t really know much about Ledson.

Can't imagine Lucy Fallon cheering him on in our west stand.

Mendez Laing on loan would be nice, if Derby sign a few in the summer.

Lesson was linked with Portsmouth and Oxford in January so can’t really see him coming to us. I’d take Sibley though.

Ledson is a box to boxer. We're heavy on midfielders, so I wouldn't go for him. Need a good defender or 2. Santos or someone would do me.

Ryan Ledson is more of an holding/defensive midfielder

The mother of his children is in Coronation Street, so I don't see him going too far.

To be fair he's spent the last few seasons trying his best to get back to Cheltenham the way his teams have performed.

I think Cheltenham to Barnsley was too much of a long haul for him.

Santos is decent if the balls in the air he's terrible with it at his feet I wouldn't sign him.

Agreed I think Marc Roberts would finish 100m a day quicker than Santos, adding pace to the defence is key to play how Conor wants to set us up.

Hopefully shepard will be OK next season but I think the gap between league 2 and 1 is quite big as Lofthouse found out. Santos and Marc Roberts in defence together would be dangerous.

Rather see neither of them tbh. I’ve posted before that hopefully Conor knows, or can identify a decent experienced CB that would come and help bring on the likes of Sheherd and Lopata

I would say the gap between league 1 and 2 is arguably the smallest of the top 4 divisions.

For your Lofthouse (who wasn’t doing that great in league 2 anyway), I give you DKD who has clearly not found the step up tough at all.

I guess we will soon see as the preparation for next season gets underway to see if Shepherd is ready. I think he will be in our team personally.

I would take both Ledson and Sibley. Although not sure either are that realistic. Maybe Sibley a bit more than Ledson.
