We've already got a mid fielder at the club who would do the work of Thomas..in my opinion ....take a bow

The most commited games I've seen him play have certainly been against us.

He was supposedly homesick. But one report, and coincidence or not. He left 1 or 2 days after Duff left.
Possibly the same reason Isted joined Charlton day after Duff left after being offered a contract. Stating he would have signed for us if Duff had stayed. As much as I rated isted. I wonder if he regrets his decision.
I would consider both tbh. Certainly Isted. Thomas only if any of the midfield depart.

    Certainly... iam
Yes iam. He lacks pace at the back I'd stick him in the middle with the instructions to break up play...their's not ours before anyone asks lol

    I'm not sure

Better than we have now, probably, but I don't think he's what we need tbh.

I'd prefer a new set of players and aim better than he is

You do realise Luke Thomas went through some extremely challenging mental health issues and wanted to be closer to home for family support in what was a difficult period for him.
I don't view mental health as someone clinging onto mummy's apron strings.

Far too inconsistent for me and as pointed out previously, the better performances I've seen from him tend to have been against us which speaks volumes.

Are you getting confused which Thomas it is because being a midfielder that breaks up play is nothing like how Thomas plays.

No for me. He worked hard and had some decent pace but I’ve never seen a winger have “rabbit in headlights” when getting anywhere near the box as much as him.

He has been gone two seasons. In that time he's played 87 games and got more bookings (12) than goals (9) and been involved in a relegation out of the league we want to be promoted from. I cannot understand anyone wanting him back. He's found his level.

We definitely need a “ball carrier” in the team.

Thomas was that player but. Just wasn’t very good at it.

Someone who gets the ball and drives you up the field with a bit of pace transitioning defence into attack.

We’ve not had anyone the last couple of seasons who can do that. The team lacks pace in general.

What about Bazza; when he remembers to take the ball with him?

With a few comments i've seen you've put on here, you give off the impression that you really are a horrible person.

Imagine being that unsympathetic to mental health problems.
