Some good quality there, beautiful weighting of the pass for the 4th. He looks to have bulked out a bit and a lot stronger, I'd hope our squad is rebalanced sufficiently that he can at least get on our bench next season.
I’m expecting him to makie it onto the bench regularly next season. I will be disappointed if he’s not.
Looked different class on those highlights. Also, the ground seemed to be packed and a great atmosphere. Good luck to Oldham.
The lad has immense potential and we need to nurture that. I foresee a first team breakthrough next season on that form.
Very few play at a higher or similar level. It's usually due to the drop in standard. Let's be honest here a few decent games in the National League hardly makes him a League One player. The guy has undoubted talent but I would expect him to prove it over a full season in League 2 first.
I don’t fancy their chances of another loan. I’m expecting him to be a part of our first team squad next season
was it freezing ? Where do you live like it’s warm all over country mi old I Went pal … sat behind net … they have a drum n all was bouncing … better than any oakwell home game this season.
there’s not much difference in quality in national league than league one. He’s a talent and out of about 15 games he’s got MOM probs 5 of them … Oldham fans are backing him though not gasping and moaning at his every move.
Im all for a drum, where as a lot of people I know aren’t. I just feel like it urges atmosphere on. Maybe that’s because my rugby club has a drummer though. I’m nominating you for Barnsley drummer 25/26 season
Tbf, it’s two leagues lower, and we have an abundance of attacking midfielders at our disposal. I honestly don’t think it’s a case of not recognising talent, as he did well for us when he played. Just needed games, same as Shepherd.
i don’t think it would fit in my car and where I sit in ponty if I started banging a drum they would all throw a wobbler … I chant and they look at me gone out
There's a shift in the British Supporter from Casuals to Ultras, already happened in the Scottish Leagues. Flares, smoke bombs, Italian chants, tannoy announcements and even Tifos - now copying them hanging from the roofs of the stands (Villa, Arsenal, Man U amongst others recently). Along with this is the drum, although used by English clubs in the 90s it was mainly part of a band - our own Ora band and the pigs band. More and more are cropping up in grounds. I don't like them but I'd welcome one at Oakwell to improve the atmosphere, something needs to happen at Oakwell it's one of the worst atmospheres in League One. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/crld756x5g4o
If Yoganathan has improved and I was on the board I'd sell him for 300,000 and buy two two complete punts for 50,000 each. No-brainer!
