This popped up in my news feed, but the article had been removed when I clicked on it. Can anyone shed any light?

He's upset that he's been released from his home town club. That's about it really.

Upset to be released but half expected it.He will use the hurt as a motivation to kick on with his career.

Cheers. Was wondering if he’s had a dig like. Hope he kicks on.

Just on a human level the way the club treat him on his loan spell was very poor.

    No contact for months.

We should have someone at the club who at least keeps in touch with loanees especially ones moving away for the first time.

Piss poor that we completely ostracise our young players like that. Send them to another country and then blank them

    Nah.

I think marsh is a grafter. Maybe he wouldn't of cut it or would of.

We should of looked after him. We always have reputation of looking after our own. I would of personally gave him a short term deal and a chance to prove himself or get him an offer to what suits him.

Bit unfair Bazza having a go at the club.Conor has decided he doesn't fit in his plans and sits down and explains to Adrian why.It happens at every club through out the country.I lke Aidys attitude by using his hurt as motivation.I'm sure he'll find another club and build up his career again.Wish him nothing but the best.

Naa let's give players 4 year contracts on stupid money.
Then cry that were skint .
    Pathetic treatment in my eyes.

You mean 'another' chance to prove?

It's cut throat. AM knew that and will know it at his next. And I hope he succeeds there

Can anyone share the article as I'm also struggling to access it. Wonder why it's been taken down.

He's got reason to be upset
The decision to let him go must have been taken way before he went on loan. How else could you explain no contact at all from the club all the time he was there, let alone having to sort out his own digs when he got up there.
Kacpa Lopata refused to stop in the digs the club put him in, such was the poor state of them.
If Marshy had been afforded the same time as Max Watters we would have seen a big difference in my opinion.

Good luck to the lad. Really hope it works out wherever he goes. And I will keep an eye on the team he goes to so I can check how he's doing.

But it's 100% the right call for him to have been released

100% mate I would rather you say than me how poorly our youngsters are treat .
How much were these youngsters who as been released costing the club.
It's like the woman at Old Trafford who been there 47 years made redundant due to cost cutting, despicable treatment of loyal servants who spent more than 10 years ,as opposed to players coming in on huge contracts .
Watters Cozzy Benson Kane left an huge hole of debt .
Someone as never been brought to account of these failures .

I agree it’s a bit poor. But send them to another country is a bit sensationalist surely?

I thought Matsh had been on loan before a few times. Take the wider point though.

With moving away I meant moving to another area rather than moving clubs. I’m assuming he commuted at York & Scunthorpe
