    He was nearly 11 which is a good age for a Great Dane but still way too short for us

    :DThat's my lad he's a web developer, Archie was a bit of a mummy's boy so he was probably sat watching my better half he spent most of his time following her about when she was in or waiting at the door for her return if she was out. The look of disgust on his face if I got home from work before her and he'd got up to greet her only to discover it's was me was total.

    Sorry to hear this RIP
    It's s brutal had to take ours Sunday morning to be put to sleep, just turned 14 and arthritis and nerves going to her legs got her helped her get about but mobility went down hill very quickly. They become such a big part of your life.

    As they get older you know the day gets closer but it is brutal not going to lie especially when you know that the only thing left for you to do for them is to make the choice so you know they are no longer in pain, all they ask for is your companionship and they give it back 10 fold
