Would love it if he came back as coach. The lad loves the club and if he's taking his badges, what better place for him to live it and develop his skills with us. Ex players who understand the club and its fans are worth a million dollars. Match that with their (CH/AH) attacking footballing philosophy, what could possibly go wrong!!
I would have thought there was no chance of him joining the coaching set up. Conor himself was a stone around Clarke’s neck. Clarke knew he was his replacement, as soon as things took a downwards turn. If Conor brings Hammill in it will be exactly the same. Conor’s too smart for that.
Team mates in 2016 remember. Conor as Head Coach, Adam as Mentor/Go between to the younger first teamers (Fabio, Vimal etc). Works for me!
The article in the chron last Friday. Suggests he needs to get his coaching badges. And Is hoping to get em during the summer. Possibility I suppose we could bring him in a different capacity till he gets em.
Last time I spoke to him 3 months ago he said he was doing his coaching badges . Not sure of the time span. But would have a guess he as them now.
There is a chance maybe, that Conor and Adam didn't or don't get on, it happens if course for various reasons. But I really would like to see Adam come back in some role, as part of Conor's new team.
According to the chron on Friday mate, he takes his eufa B badge this month which allows him to be an assistant coach. And he wants to set up his own coaching business. Hopes to get all his badges in the summer. And has contacts wanting to be made aware. ??? 2+2 =?9 The article was in the chron last Friday. Lots of spooky things going on. Conors signature being another lol. In the chron advert.
Is it real, or did you make it out of an old toilet roll, an old washing-up liquid bottle, and some sticky-back plastic?
I wouldn't be too sure that Adam Hammill will be returning too soon to Oakwell. Richard Keogh has just been appointed and we don't want the same situation as before with Stead, Devanney, Connor Hourihane and Darrel Clarke all on the sidelines. Maybe he could find a place with the younger lads to start off.
But maybe keep his players registration to sit on bench for emergency, I hear he is a good bloke for morale in dressing room
