It’s no surprise it’s a nervy, horrible game. The losing manager is surely a goner. I don’t think I’ve ever known the stakes be so high between saving your season & having the most disastrous season in your teams modern history. At least with the Spurs goal it should mean we get a better second half with Man Utd needing a goal.
I know what you’re saying but it just seems incredible that he could survive finishing 17th & not winning anything. I certainly wouldn’t trust him with a lot of money to rebuild the squad to play his system on what I’ve seen up to now.
Could have been booked a minute earlier. Dived, handled the ball, obstructed the ball and didn't move away to stop a quick free kick.
Spurs have very little interest in going forward, that counter attack with only two players was poor. Richarlison in the left back position a minute ago. . Spurs don’t look strong enough to keep a clean sheet, I think Garnacho could turn the match if he gets on.
A cheap and desperate attempt by UEFA to give the competition some validity. The Champions League should be just that, for Champions as originally intended. Now they let any old tat in, all in the interests of the great god money.
I get the idea, but it'd be right tedious if only champions were allowed in. Only maybe four teams a season would have any chance of winning it, and most of the matches would be pointless.
I've been watching on TNT, no problems, other than the game itself being dirge! It is improving though as time goes on.
Absolute shocker this. I'm sure there's probably been one, but I can't remember a worse European final. Wet paint that never dries.
