I actually have a feeling that there’s a chance Farage might be the one to ‘rescue’ the Tories.

All the noise about them winning the next election based on local election protest votes etc - there’s maybe just too high a risk for him that the right wing vote will be split and he won’t get the power he clearly craves.

Reform Tory merger, Nigel as leader. The MPs and candidates are pretty much all former Tory members anyway - The voters will likely all follow Nigel. At least enough of them in red wall areas will pinch their nose and vote Tory if he was banging the drum anyway.

You probably didn’t hear it here first…

Think one of you is right though. The Tory leader by the next election will be either Johnson or Farage.

I have never heard of the Chagos Islands but I'm highly incensed that we're simply giving them away. Woke culture gone mad.

Imagine having a shag in Chagos. Crude, but it's my thought for the day.

Personally I believe that we have done the right thing. Even the Tories got this one right. The British Empire was not the wonderful thing it was always made out to be. Neither were the other smaller ones like the Spanish, Portuguese and Dutch. A lot of our national wealth is based on the subjugation of people all over the world. Most of that wealth being owned by a small number of wealthy families of course, not the ordinary people, who were exploited by much the same lot in the industrial revolution - something which was largely powered by the Empire.
