    Just to be clear the investor rumour has come from a teenager on twitter. Nothing in it at all if you ask me. Unless he’s the best connected 15 year old in Yorkshire.

    in fairness, if it’s just a rumour and it probably is. The kid has done some research because I have never heard of the guy and I thought it was a made up name at first.

    Serious post. Regarding 52 billion mega bucks. We've already got 9.1 billion mega bucks who only spends what he needs to. With those sums of money very little difference. You're just richer than the other guy. You can still do all the same things.

    So it all comes down to like @e-red eluded to fun. We could do with a bit of fun injected into the club.

    On a personal level watching Barnsley hasn't been fun for too long.

    Me too, I actually spent 15 minutes trying to solve the name as an anagram. Then looked him up and found he's real. Can't find any link to his days in't Tarn or his love for Grimethorpe Colliery Band though...

    Not to nit-pick, but this is how rumours garner a life of their own. Twillo didn't say it was legit, only that there were rumours doing the rounds on X. I agree, he's usually not far off, but he's not put his name to this at all.

    I'd be surprised if we signed a couple more guys in their 30s with no resale value. Bradley is 34 not long after the season starts and we've already got Roberts.

    We’ll need to move some CB’s on if this is the case. Roberts, MDG, Earl, Shepherd, Lopata, Barratt and supposedly Bradley. That’s 7 players for two positions.
