    Russell has had a good season mate, so much so that he’s in an international team at the moment. I reckon you ought to go watch the Rugby League as you keep claiming you are, you might even enjoy it because you definitely don’t seem to enjoy football pal.

    Thanks for the advice but as usual I’ll do what I want, to say Russell has had a good season is beyond bizarre, he’s been bang average for most of it with the rest of his team. Had a few decent performances when season was done in April

    Jon Russell is a great footballer when he's played in an advanced role and isn't asked to do any of the dirty work. When he's played defensively he's terrible.

    If we can get him at the right end of the pitch more often he could be a much better option than Phillips as the advanced midfielder
