End of Season Cheers: True North Bar Joins the Reds!

The final whistle may have blown on the football season, but the action isn’t over – and neither is the fun! We’re excited to announce a new partnership between Barnsley Football Club and True North Bar Barnsley, home of the official beer of the Reds – Rare Delight.

This hazy pale ale is ice-cold, full of flavour, and perfect for toasting matchday memories. Whether you’re reminiscing about a great season or gearing up for a summer of sport (like the huge Simpson vs. Zucco boxing showdown at Oakwell on 7th June), True North Bar is the ultimate fan HQ.

Here’s a little extra – join us after any match and get 20% off all drinks upstairs. Find us in the Market Kitchen at The Glassworks – just a short walk from the stadium.

The season’s winding down – but the good times are still on tap.

Many health benefits from some types of beers if drank in moderation.
Not everyone is a p155 head lol. Although some of us can go overboard on the very odd occasion. Inc. Yours truly. :)

I hope they have it on at the stadium. We're long overdue a Barnsley fc themed beer on draught.

O'reight if tha likes pale ale I suppose.
Given that lager is the most popular drink. I'm sure one could be named. I'd give it a try. Wrexham have their own brand. OK as well.
Barnsley bitter is still around. Is that not available at the ground. ?.
£25 for 12 x 500ml bottles. Pretty sure a deal could be done if not already. Available on draught as well.
As I rarely drink at oakwell concourse. I'm not sure what is available. Barring Madri.

I agree that we should have a BFC branded lager too.

The current offering is Madri, John's, Carling and Carling black fruits cider iirc. There was also a couple of IPA offerings from Salt too, but I believe they did away with those at the end of last season.

I’m not sure a Kombucha and matcha concoction to wash down a kale and pomegranate seed salad would be a huge seller in the east stand concourse…

An urban burger - with no limit on the additional vegetables they offer added - is probably less unhealthy for your heart than the stresses of following an average league one football team in any case.
